Lovely just lovely tell Miss Elly there is always room in my bungalow with no stairs for her and a comfy bed, I am sure Belle would be more than happy to share (not that you would part with her) She is looking so happy.

I think I am the same. My body is telling me that I can't do what I used to do We have been restricting off-lead this week and it seems to have perked her up. She is such a lovely old lady. She got all excited this morning when we loaded up the car, and we had to tell her no. But my oldest daughter took her out twice during the day and made a big fuss of her. Wish I could give her a new body

Love the photos - looks like Megan is winking in one of them! Does she know something we don't.

This would never have happened last October She actually said hello instead of "let me bite you". Elly at her favourite place, and mine, Pish, this morning. She had a lovely time. I WILL get that video of her playing sillies soon

It was Miss Elly's 12th birthday today, the 12th July, and she had a lovely day. She loves to go in the car and hopped up excitedly. We had two lovely walks with her today, her first at Harlow Common, all new sniffs for her to explore and the second to one of her favourite places, Pish. We had tea and biscuits downstairs today as Miss Elly is a little bit heavy to carry up the stairs.
No-one expected Elly to live beyond Christmas and it is so lovely seeing her blossom and live her life to the full.
I have been yearning to call Miss Elly mine, and so today we decided that even though she is here forever we will adopt her into the family properly and she will become Miss Elly Symmons.
We want Elly to go to the bridge from her family. And we love her very very much. Grumpiness and all. She has had a hard life and we can accept that she is never going to be a sweet little girlie, but she is our grumpy girlie. :-*xxxxx

Many congratulations to Elly on making the transition from foster to adopted family member, & to the Symmons clan on their latest lovely, grumpy addition.
