Dozer is one of 3 much loved dogs of one of our member families of SLR. Because of the credit crunch they have had to make the agonising decision to rehome two of their dogs. Bran has happily slotted into his new foster home and they are hoping that with our help they can find a loving home for Dozer who is dearly dearly loved. They are doing this for the sake of the dogs and it is a heartbreaking decision to split them all up.
Dozer is totally family orientated, very cat friendly, cuddly, lovable and a good boy off-lead (most of the time). He loves his walks and runs and is a very social boy.
We are ideally looking for a family who already have one other dog so that he has a best buddy. Dozer will reward you ten fold.
I remember the first time that Jules and I went to see him and he was just all over us and "love me, I love you".
He has matured, is sometimes a nutcase but most times an incredibly loving boy.
We are looking for a home where someone works part-time as he has been used to having his mum around most of the time.
Bring on the cats. Dozer loves his family cats and is rock solid with them.
I am sure his current family will update anything I have left off, but we think that the photo of Dozer on the website Needing Homes just depicts what a character this little lad is.
We only rehome withing 200 miles of Harlow, Essex, and all adopters will be homechecked.
These photos and extracts are from his original thread. His foster family ending up adopting him..... you can see why.
He got into his crate and then rested his nose on the bars
And this one, obviously coming down stairs, closely followed by his shadow Snoopy.
I have to admit we have all fallen for him. He is just gorgeous.
On Saturday when we brought him home, I thought OMG what have we got here because he didn't stop moving. That was obviously not knowing where he was and everything being strange to him. Now he is wonderful, he has a walk and then settles down with the other 2; mind you if you go out of the room for 5 mins you get such a welcome from him ;D Your lucky to get that from Bran when you've been out for a few hours - all you get from him is "oh your back then" and promptly goes back to sleep.
Whoever gets this lad will be one lucky family.
