If we did not have our little hound Elmer...........
........... we could take on lovely old Suzi AND poor nervous Robin who could live with another quiet lady in the country and lead a happy and quiet life together........... It would also kill two birds with one stone at the same time as it would mean two lovely greyhounds LESS to worry bout...........
Oh I hope the home checks get sorted and a wonderful new family is just around the corner for her. Suzi you are the most adorable lady, you make me feel so full of love looking in your big brown eyes...Sending lots of love little Suzi XXXXX
I just talked to richard and he didn't say no but i think thats cos he knows we are living at my parents so i wouldnt be allowed anyway they do not have lurcher adequate fencing tho jasper doesnt even try to get over it. good look beautiful suzi
I think all of SLR hounds have the angels watching over them from up above. Not forgetting of course (the one with the hidden wings) Mummy Chook, who loves & watches over each & everyone, who are lucky enough to come into SLR's care. Good Luck Suzi with your autumn years, be happy xxx
I went over to Ennis and Eric yesterday afternoon and had a lovely couple of hours with them and with Basil their oldie. Suzi came soon after with Dave and Helen. She is even lovelier in the flesh. So serene and so pretty. She snuggled into any lap that would stroke her and loved the fuss. Basil woofed at her, she followed him and that was it. Lovely. Suzi will have a safe secure home for life and I think that Helen and Dave felt relieved that she was now sorted.
I know I have said it before, but having Elly here has been the loveliest experience of my life. There is so much love in the oldies.
All the best Ennis and Eric, and much love to you all. Well done Dave and Helen for bringing her on a long journey to her new forever sofa. God bless. xx
:-[I forgot my camera, but I did take a few piccies on my phone, so when this technophobe can work it out I will post them.
