Mischa is recovering well so well in fact she was driving me mad on our walk this morning to get off her lead and have some fun with Belle, no way not yet.

Mischa went to a party today well a B.B.Q. at my daughters as it was my grandsons Dan's 21st so we had a little family get together. Left Belle and Dolly at home for the afternoon I felt I could not inflict them on the party guest as well. She had the best time ever greeted everyone with love and kisses, met Archie again and also Dyson the lovely silly Collie. Even got up close and personal with the cats. She is just a bit lacking in her table manners. ;D ;D Have taken some photos of todays goings on, I cant believe this is the same little girlie that could not walk two days ago. I have decided dogs are like kids they soon bounce back again. Meeting the guests Happy Birthday Dan If this is the party where is the food I will just have to check out the recycling then Maybe this is the food they mean Help I need a fishing net to catch it. Nearly got a ducking So whats all the fuss about its a cat Come on Archie take a look One hiding in the plant pot hoping they won't notice him Then another playmate arrived and for a girlie that barks at other dogs she was unbelievable. Having fun in the garden

Also just a little video clip of Mischa and Dyson trying to sort out who is having the ball you can tell by the video who is the boss. ;D ;D And poor little Archie trying to keep a low profile.

Jean, you are a miracle worker. I am going to have to change her profile on the website now. Cat friendly. Whatever she is on... keep going Jean. She is so worth it.

Thanks Jenny I am so glad she is making such good progress in such a short time its just show just what she is capable of, if you can update her profile that would be good. You can see what she is like with the cats, she did run after the kitten at one time but Archie chases him all the time. I think by her reaction yesterday she could happily live with a cat. Also its a nice photo of her now on the front page with the children. I know nothing of her past owners or history apart from what I have read all I can say after having a couple of different owners by the time her history was passed down to us it must be like Chinese whispers and things have got changed along the way. I can only speak and show you photos of how she is here with me at this time. She has things to learn still but she is just a pup and she will get there. It was interesting this morning we met a lady I know just as we went into the field Belle was off lead and I had hold of Dolly and Mischa, so she starts her usual barking at the other dog. We stood talking for about five minuets and she had given up the barking long before then. I am no dog expert but I am almost sure all this barking at strange dogs is just fear in her. And its improving already it wont happen in days it will take a while but I am sure she will do it, and the fear will go. Can't wait for her to be able to have a free run again when her leg is better.

I'd agree with you on the fear thing, this is EXACTLY what Tarks does, to the letter. It's all fear as if you look at her body language her tail will be tucked up and she'll be cowering. I have no reason for Tarks to be like this as all she's known is love. She's just ASBO dog.
You're doing an amazing job with her Jean, she's so lucky to have a foster mum like you. The piccies say it all really dont they? A family dog in the making.
Fancy sorting Tarks out for me? x x

Jean
The photos and video are really good, they show what a lovely girl she is, she looks normal enough for a young pup just enjoying herself at a family get together.
You giving her all these experiences will make it very easy for her to fit into any family's life.

Lovely! Mischa just needs to see and do stuff, doesn't she? Bless. The "ball contest" video caused a lot of thundering into the room, here, with heads on one side and much rushing to the laptop!

Mischa continues to be happy and settled with us and is improving every day. Just a couple of photos of her taken today she is full of herself just as you would expect a nine month old pup to be. Earning her keep fly catching in my garden room, don't eat the blind. There it is I can see it on the window sill. My two saying get on with it you silly pup its to hot for chasing flies.
