I think it might help Barney if he glued her to the floor, then she couldn't chase the bicycles, cars, large dogs and people that she meets on his walks. Plans are a foot to remedy Miss Pull-along on the lead girlie. Somewhere in my garage is a harness that will sort her out. I just have to find it. She is still very young, and a work in progress. ;D

Barney have you glued her to your floor!!? She has to be the most 'static' lurcher you've had....which is not a bad thing at all I say ;D ...can I swap her for mine? Another pic of the little lass not appearing very lively:
I can assure you that the camera does lie Simona - the words 'static' & 'Mischa' are definitely not an appropriate mix! I guarantee if we did a swap you'd very quickly be pleading for Ajax to come back so you could have a bit of peace! ;D

Edited to add:
She does, though, go right through the night as quiet as a church mouse..............................

I love the expression on Winnie's face as though she is saying " I've nothing to do with that lot". ;D
I guess she was enjoying the lovely sunshine we have had.

She was indeed Lesley - all my lot, (like their dad), love the sun. Mind you, Annie will lie out on the patio whatever the temperature, as long as 'tis not raining. ;D

Mischa made the trip up to deepest Bedfordshire today, for a holiday with Auntie Jean, Belle & Dolly. The lass travelled really well, with no problems.
Dolly was initially not keen on a young whippersnapper invading her territory, but this reaction was of course not unexpected from a grumpy elderly Greyhound, who is not unlike a certain Miss Elly in this respect. She was, though, happy enough once she'd put Mischa firmly in her place. ;D
Belle & Mischa were introduced to each other on a short 'wee walk,' before entering the bungalow, where Paul, Jean's son-in-law is currently doing some decorating. Paint pots were duly moved to the back of the worksurface to allow for the activities of a countersurfer - a breed that Jean is not experienced in dealing with, (she'll soon learn, though!! ;D ).
Mischa & Belle enjoyed a preliminary skirmish which will doubtless lead to proper Lurcher playfighting, & the houseguest explored the premises, quickly discovering the toy box, so she was in her element!
I made my excuses & left, knowing that if I asked myself the most important question for any homechecker, i.e. 'would I be happy to leave my own dog in the care of this person?' the answer would be an unequivocal 'yes!' Mischa could not be in better hands.
Hopefully some pics will follow later.

p.s. Many thanks for lunch Jean!

Well Mischa has well and truly arrived she has been put in her place by Belle and Dolly and now we know who's boss ME or so I think. Greetings and grumblings over she has been a delight, every one that has meet her today has fallen in love with her. Thank you to Barney for fetching her up to me it was nice to have company for lunch even if half of mine ended up in Mischa, I have never had a dog that counter surfs so half of my nice ham and chicken roll was gone in a flash I must be getting slow in my old age, but I will learn. She did cry and cry when uncle Barney left her but she has now decided to make the best of things with us lot. She loved Paul my son in law she has been supervising him working all day even to watering my garden he took a little video clip I will post later. Life outside is a different kettle of fish for Mischa, I took her out on a harness that I had for a walk and all was well until we come across another dog, she no like, she no like. Its early days yet she might just need more socialization and confidence and lots of work on the walking to make it an enjoyable experience. I WILL TRY. ;D ;D ;D Just some photos to see her arrival/her departure ones to follow. ;D ;D ;D Getting to know Dolly be afraid be very afraid ;D ;D You said make yourself at home so I thought I would explore the toy box After all the goings on time to relax with the girls That is until the children arrive and I decide to lick them to death. I have calmed down a bit now/ I have eaten one only one left to go ;D ;D This is how good I am kipping on the sofa while mum is on the PC. lets see what adventures the night brings none I hope.

'Tis surely not this cute wee lass of whom you speak Jean?? ;DJust a reminder to folks that not all fostering is a bed of roses - most dogs that come under our wing arrive with some sort of baggage, & require wholehearted commitment to set them back on the straight & narrow, which is why we are so grateful to our dedicated team of fosterers.

Mischa could not decide where to sleep last night she tried the dogs beds, my bed then under the bed in the end it was my misfortune that she found squeaky toy in the bedroom so I think we all got squeaked off to sleep last night courtesy of Mischa , I will give you a clue where she ended up sleeping. I had to let Dolly out in the night and Mischa had an accident on the kitchen floor soon cleared up just glad I put the light on and did not tread in it. Se needed to be in the bed not on it, so that was that. Its not me its the others I am never naughty, I am not listening to you Found another comfy bed, its not half bad here. Relaxing in the sunshine with the kids they love her, I think she loves them to.
