No probs Judy. Now I know that the little chap wants to stay with me. He ran at least 200 yards away from Archie and then came flying back to me and sat by my side. I don't think he is quite ready for the big boys yet ;D I popped Tag on the lead too and let Milo investigate. He loves keeping his nose to the ground and checks over nearly every inch of the ground. He is so affectionate. Doing really well, and doesn't pull too hard on the lead. He met some more new dogs today and he is a good boy. Someone is going to have a soulmate in Milo.

Went to meet the gorgeous cuddly wiggly Milo puppy today. I am smitten! He's a calm, gentle little soul. Another "if only" dog for me! Total poppet. I might be tall but I'm still only a puppy! But inside the puppy is a debonair dog-about-town just waiting to emerge Yes I can sit for a treat, but where is it? I said, where's my treat? I'll have a bit of a potter then... I have brindle trousers! A cuddle with Jenny First in the queue in the doorway... ...means first in the queue for the treats!

Thanks so much for the great piccies Jules. I can't get them all to stay still long enough to get a decent one of him. And when Milo stays still someone always walks in the way. His head shot one is fantastic. Just shows how much character this ickle poopie has got. He is typical deerhound in his ways and very vocal when he wants something. He has a deep bark ;D

I think he is making himself at home. Albeit, his foster home. He will need a bigger sofa when he is fully grown ;D

What a stunner if I was looking I would be tempted, its such a shame it did not work out for him with his last owners. I can't believe he would nip he looks as if butter would not melt in his mouth bless him. I know when I had Gypsy as she was such a youngster she was a nightmare with the kids but not with any aggression she was just puppy, nippy and mouthy and any fingers and feet she would be after but saying that the kids loved her to bits and I know she would have grown out of it. Lovely little Milo I m sure he will soon be snapped up.

The stunt kids are coming round tomorrow with Hayley so we will see what he is like with little ones. He has shown no aggression whatsoever in any shape or form with any of the children that I tutor. He takes treats gently and is a very laid back boy. Typical deerhound woos. ;D

Mr. Milo has had a busy day playing and running and so likes to nip into the crate which separates the lounge from the kitchen. So does Tag. I think they really like a snuggle. Tag and Milo have struck up a friendship. Both are woos-like Milo went on Sofi's vet trip tonight and has put on a kilo in a week. Now 19.5 kilos. I think he has tin ribs. His favourite dinner is the night-time one with minced beef and complete. He sits and barks at me if he has to wait for it to cool down This pup is adorable.

She wasn't allowed to fail unless she fostered again Jean. And no. The house is full here now. As much as I love having Milo here I know that whilst Michael is away I can't do all six dogs on my own. Michael is away for the next two weeks, I think,. to teach moi a lesson on keeping dogs ;D

This young man is a treasure. I took him on his own on the school run today and our favourite place, Pish. He is off lead now straight from the back of the car. He is a very faithful boy and because he is a bit of a woos he doesn't go far from me. His recall is spot on, in fact you have to tell him to slow down. Luckily he has collie eyesight I met up with Judy, Archie and Alice and he had a lovely play with them. Archie was gentle. ;D Milo has the waggiest tail and greets everyone with it going round like a helicopter. There is no malice at all in this little chap. He wants to please everyone. He was great with the stunt kids yesterday, but Hayley didn't have batteries for her camera so we will have to get a photo next time they pop round. I am absolutely certain that he can go to a home with younger children, but just to be safe, no children under the age of 4. If he has a bad memory it is better not to re-jog it in that area. Ideally, a home with other dogs as he loves the company of the dogs. As with all our dogs here, Milo sleeps upstairs, but is happy to pop alongside the bed, not on it. I think he is the most adorable pup I have ever had.

Lovely to see the delightful young man again this morning and glad that Archie was a tad calmer with him. Perhaps the novelty of a newcomer is wearing off!! Plus the fact he had already used up tons of energy tearing around with Alice earlier.
This super puppy is going to be someones dream dog. He is THE perfect pup....and very bright, he unpopped the flap on the side pocket of my bag and found the treats ;D ;D

Have emailed you Jeanette. Barney and I have been thinking on Milo's future family. When he arrived he did show quite a lot of separation anxiety. He still does if I take Tag out and leave him indoors. I can hear him on the field next door. But it is gradually getting better, and he does stop as long as one of the dogs is with him. whilst Michael has been away I have had to do the dog walking in two to three shifts and he is now quite happy to be left with the others whilst I go. He doesn't miss me when I go out, and barking stops after a few minutes. He is very happily a pack boy and loves the company of the other dogs. We are looking for a family where someone is around most of the time and there is another dog in situ. Milo gets on well with all dogs that we have met so should happily slot into a family with a dog. He also loves children, of all ages it seems. But we are erring on the side of caution and asking for applications from families who have children over the age of 5. We have seen no signs of any aggression. In fact Milo is a woos, a big woos. He is going to make a lovely dog, a faithful one and a loving one. But we need to get it right for Milo, so please only apply if you can offer him the home we are hoping for.

Just a couple of new piccies of Milo Man. He and Sofi have a blast together. She has got the measure of him, and although he is fast she is swift and nippy. There are no brakes on Milo ;D He keeps hogging the Sofa. Much to Sofi's disgust. She only needs a small space Is it my turn yet Milo?
