Macey went to bed at 12 a.m. with his hot water bottle and was a good boy until 5.40 a.m. when he must have woken to a cold water bottle and no little Dexter by his side. He had some weetabix and milk and a play and Michael stayed downstairs with him whilst mummychook had a bit more sleep My turn tomorrow. He has been missing Dexter, particularly around 11 a.m. today when we took his huge crate out onto the patio and I mowed the back lawn. I think he was louder than the lawnmower. He is Tag's shadow, and Tag checks up on him all the time. Tag can jump into the kitchen when he needs to see him, which no-one else has managed. Tag and Macey had a little sunbathe on top of the crate in the garden, supervised. At one point snuggled up, but when I went to get the camera Tag jumped down so that one was a missed one. Don't panic, the cavalry are just outside the shot He is off to his new home tomorrow, into the big wide world with a worldly big brother, and a fun family. We think that Macey will look just like Callum rehomed last year, when he is all grown up. ;D

Little Macey has left with Dave and Andrea and is going to live with his big brother lurcher of 16 and human sister Erin. When Andrea walked in again today Macey was delighted to see. There was a bond straight away. Little piglet weighed in yesterday at a staggering 5.1 kilos, that's two kilos in two weeks So, just a few piccies of his last morning with us, bath and bye byes. All the best all. I hear that you are living quite near Bob's new family. It would be lovely for you to get together to compare and walk. ;D Early breakfast. 7.15 a.m. We had a lie in today Last play in the garden with Tag and Mims Just to be sure that Miss Elly doesn't have an extra light dinner Challenging the resident little hounds Sneaking a last cuddle with his bestest friend Tag A little tele watching And a little snack - again Bath time Macey So easy, he is just so good. Almost done Squeaky clean Proud mum and dad - bye bye

He's adorable. He's how I imagine Enzo looked when he was little - same shape ears and everything.

We've received a lovely update from Andrea and Dave: Your little foster pup is getting big now and has lost two front teeth! He's still adorable and now sleeps in so no more 5.30 am wake up calls, thank goodness. He is still very good at puppy training and gets the most attention as he plays up to every one, be it rolling on his back or sitting with both paws in the air. He is a clever puppy and picks up new things quickly especially when there s a treat involved!
Dylan has been at the vet a few times lately and we take him for the ride. He loves it as the nurses and vets are fussing over him. He especially enjoys playing with friends over the Downs and is good at recall which makes life a lot easier. I was out for the whole day yesterday and left him with Dave, when i came home he was beside himself with joy, dave was tired! Aren't these pups getting big!! Caroline

Just had an update from Andrea on little Masey.... Masey is good with Dylan just wants to be near him, same with Erin they occupy each other. Few more pictures today he had a great time at the yard found a ball and him and Erin played for ages. The horse is Shakira, Macey s big sister! Would be good to meet up on their birthdays he might meet his match for playfulness! Such a lovely litter our boy has not a bad bone in his body we can take anything from him and he near growls. Mind you Dylan was a rescue and he has never growled at me in 15 years............................. Masey was neutered earlier this week and is doing fine. Glad to be home back with Dylan. How lovely. I hope we can get all these pups and their owners back together for a reunion on their birthdays. A few more piccies of Masey And with his bestest buddy in the whole wide world. Dylan.
