On his way into SLR with Caroline as I type. Caroline will update later. Now nearly seven weeks old and off to the vets tomorrow for a check-up, this little chap and his 3 litter brothers are coming into SLR today. Caroline is fostering two of them and two will be here. Their owner made the decision to part with them a tiny bit early as she was being asked by not so nice people whether she had lurcher pups, and she was frightened for their safety, and wanted to make sure that they got the best possible homes. She has done an incredible job. These little darlings were the result of her 9 year old rough coat bitch lurcher (never had a litter before) being got at by her daughter's puppy Labrador. All are cream, one deffo rough coated and all beautiful. Well done mum. Mum piccie And naughty dad piccie - at 8.5 months old Piccies to follow this afternoon.

Levi is quite independent, but loves coming up for a cuddle and a lick . He's on the right of the photo (the other one is Cai)

Tag is most interested in the pups. Milo is a little scared of them. Elly pretends they aren't there, Megan doesn't want to know and Sofi agree with her and Mim would just like her basket back Tag either stays in the kitchen with them or watches them from the top of the crate. Tag and Mason Tag and Mason with little Levi, the palest having a snooze Levi is the whitest of the two. Mason is our big boy Sometimes it's safe from needle teeth up here

Well, Dexter is growing fast, and looking a little leaner in the face features than Mason. Dexter has started to get the creased half ears and holding them back. It is amazing to watch them growing and changing in just a week Dexter had a bath for his visitors yesterday and then his worming/flea treatment last night, producing a lovely package of little strings this afternoon Better out than in ;D A few photos of Dexter yesterday, in his glory in the bath, he laid down and had a lovely time. ;D And lovely and fluffy and dry again. Am I not the most gorgeous boy in the world. Being shown how to chew, by Tag

Dexer is defnitely all lurcher. A little observor. He respects his elders and only barks at Macey, never at the big ones We had an aeroplane go over yesterday andDexter ran and hid under the caravan steps. I expect the grime and oil will wash off Dexter now comes to his name. He sits on command and loves to play with Tag. Dexter and Macey both dig:o Oh, lovely! He is so so cute. Here he is up to mischief this morning and yesterday out and about with Macey, when they dug ;D Their first attempt to get at the pigs ear strips, they had a little one each. And triumphant that he has the basket bed with his: This last piece of earth is now covered by stones - nothing like pups to make you finish off all those little jobs You can see Dexter has the lower set tail and longer looking body. Macey, the investigator, while Dexter is the watcher Tiring work, playing. Yes, they can roach ;D

Bless him, he has a right regal (almost snooty) look about him as well - I really don't envy you Jenny, they are going to be so hard to part with and I think Tag is going to miss them to - seems to be with them rather a lot
