We received this lovely update and some photos of Mr. Gorgeous a little while back and thought we'd share. Wouldn't of thought it possible but he's even more beautiful and living a great life by the sounds of it! This is what makes fostering worth while. " Hi there.!!! Luka is fine, and nudging me under the elbow as I type, probably asking for his walk. He has matured into a lovely, fluffy boy, his coat is much thicker and longer than it was, and the top coat is quite blonde! He has done a very little obedience training just to see how he got on as he showed much promise, and is pretty good, much better than Callum. He is very intelligent. We only have to take a path once and the next time he knows where to go. He is so bright that he can work out how to get round obstacles, and all sorts, when Callum is quite stumped. And he can really jump! He is like a gazelle. We have moved house now, and have a half acre garden for the boys in West Yorkshire. We'll send some photos of the boys here as soon as we can. I thought the walls of the garden would be ok, they are five feet high. Callum stopped dead, but Luka took one look, and doinnng. He was up there with no effort! So we had to post and fence all the way round to stop him jumping out. The little so and so. :-) We feel that he has really come out of his shell. He was quite quiet for a while when he arrived, and reserved. But now he is much more open even with strangers, he used to ignore them but quite often will have a look and a sniff which is nice. He has been much admired up here, far more than in Harlow. We found it a bit strange at first, so many people coming up to ask about him, and say what a lovely dog he is. A woman even stopped her car as we were crossing the road after a walk, to ask what he was. So we can report that he is very well, and much loved. I've attached some pictures, but they are not very recent. I think the ones down the riverbank are last year. Alistair says he will try to take some of the boys in the garden right now and send them to you so that you can see his lovely thick coat. And Luka says thank you very much for giving him such a good start in life. He doesn't know what dogs would do without humans like you. Makes up for all the other horrible ones out there. All the best, Cathy and Ali and Callum and Luka and Floyd.xxx"
