Lovely face....Once she gets into shape she'll be a stunner. If I foster her may be it will work for both of us.

She will Jeanette. She will resemble a bit of a Bonnie look. I know that there is a guardian Angel out there for this loveliest of ladies, and I am hoping that all my prayers are going to be answered.

Hi everyone. May name's Donna and I'm the person who first enquired about Lady. I just wanted to say I'm sorry and thank you to everyone involved. I saw Lady's picture, read a lot into the back ground story (my Mum has a life threatening medical condition) and my first thought was how I could help - I really did only have the best of intentions. But then of course over the next 24 hours all the questions and doubts started popping in to my head. I am really sorry to Lady, but I just didn't feel confident of making the right decision in such a short timespan and so I removed my offer rather than make life more difficult for everone, especially Lady. I expect you're all pretty miffed with me at the moment and I more than understand that but I hope that in the future I may be able to help in some way.

Don't beat yourself up about it Donna. Lady is having a visitor tomorrow who has now been homechecked. Actually, who was homechecked last year and didn't have the right circumstances then, but has just been re-checked and now ticks all the boxes for exactly a dog like..... Lady. If it is not meant to be, then it is not meant to be. And yes, we now have your address so any help would be lovely.

OK, I shall put away the big stick that I have been beating myself with Thank you. You're right about 'if it's not meant to be' and I wish with all my heart that it' is meant to be for Lady tomorrow.

Lady's visitor all went well and Lady left with Carol. Asked Jenny to put this up but think she must be very busy - thought some of you may be waiting. San and Bonnie already missing her. However, Bonnie knicked one of Lady's toys as a momento.

P.S. think they were looking at a helicopter - perhaps they thought Lady was going home that way. I have since had an E Mail from Carol - journey back very good and Bonnie is sitting in armchair next to Carol. Good job I didn't have for any longer than 3 days - would have been even harder to let her to. Joy X
