PS how was the deer or are you going to have it for Sunday dinner ;D guys It was horrible Keith. Mum had to spend an hour cutting it up You're right Rosa, he's silkly soft. His coat is so shiny and glossy. He's in great condition. Beagle is doing well here. He's so funny, like most young dogs, he has his crazy moments. A favourite game of his is to run up and down the stairs like a lunatic! He loves playing with his toys, but Fionn keeps stealing them He's had a few accidents in the house, but he'll get better with time. He gets on really well with Fionn and Tipton, even though he was shy of them at first, now they're used to each other they get on fine. Beagle and Fionn like to curl up on the sofa together He's confident in the house, but outside he's quite nervous. He's very wary of people and dogs out on walks, but we're working on this. Beagle is such a sweet boy. He loves to curl up on the sofa with you and have a cuddle He's a little video of him playing:

This is Hannah, Rowan's sister here. PS i did like the two white with flora's pillows look like they come from your bed Actually these are pillows from my bed- the long and short of it is I stayed downstairs the first night to keep an eye on Beagle and he decided he liked sharing the sofa with me very much I tried to remake my bed and after leaving for a minute came back to find the little Prince sttled on MY pillows ;D He is starting to discover a wild side- he's very much still in puppy mode and has lots of energy to burn, hence the video. I spent some time with him in the garden today trying to get him to play. I threw him some toys and he would chase them but when he got to them he would stop and look confused. He likes running and seems to want to play but perhaps doesn't quite get it yet I think he'd quite enjoy a run around with some lurchers. Yes it is rather like having a strangely large cat in the house Jenny

Here's another Beagle update- I can't believe he's only been here four days, he's bonded so quickly with us. Here are some pics: Photos really don't do justice to Beagle- his coat is so beautiful and he is so gorgeous with the sweetest expression. He is at a training class right now where the trainer Emily (who has already worked her magic with Fionn) will assess him and advise us on how to help Beagle with his anxiety outside. This is even now improving after only a few days as he meets the same dogs and begins to understand that he can make friends with them. He is so young and if someone put in the time to desensitize and socialise him I'm sure he would be fine. As for in the house, he is getting much better with toilet training and hopefully we will crack this before he goes to his new home. He really is getting into playing with toys so we're going to get some MEGA toys for him. He's very clever as we're realising and this seems like a good area in which to keep him stimulated and burn off energy. But I can't say enough how adorable and lovely he is. He is still so young; he will grow out of his 'puppyness' and is still in many ways a blank canvas in terms of what kind of dog he can be if someone can work with him. He is exciteable but manageable and will stop doing something when told. He loves food so training him should be fine- we've already got him to sit for cheese and the rest will come. But more than that this boy just looovves people. He has bonded and adjusted so quickly. He follows you around in the house like a shadow; if you leave him to go somewhere he waits quietly but greets you like you've been away for months even if it's been two minutes- like you've got your own personal fan club He makes me laugh out loud all the time at his funny little antics and he honestly loves nothing better in the world than being with his people snuggled up on the sofa getting a cuddle. We leave him downstairs with the other dogs at night and he's absolutely quiet and fine, so he can be left. However because he does adore being with you so much he'd flourish best where someone was around most but preferably all of the time, at least at first so that he could get the time and attention he needs. He also will need another older dog around who he can bond to and play with but who can also give him confidence. Sorry for the extra long update but I have a real soft spot for this baby- it may seem like a lot but he is just a cute, loving puppy who wants people he can adore all day and one or more canine companions to play with- if you have the time for him he'll repay you tenfold.

Lovely photos and update on Beagle did I detect a just a little bit to much love and affection in your post. I think it will be difficult for you to part with him and I will be surprised if you do, but don't let Jenny hear me say that ;D I am glad I did not foster him I have weakness for black beauties and I know he is so appealing I would have had a job to let him go. O dear we are all big softies at heart we would be no good at the fostering if we weren't.

We will, we will, don't say that He is lovely but after letting Orin go which was really hard, we realised we wouldn't have been able to take in Beagle if we had kept Orin. Fostering is so rewarding and if we kept our foster we wouldn't be able to take on any more dogs. So it would have to be very special circumstances...

Hmmm. Keep strong Hannah. I know how upset you were when Orin went. The pups especially get under your skin. Ask Sticky Lovely update. Thank you for reminding me Jean. I need to ask Anne to put him on black beauties.
