He gets on with most dogs, all he wants to do is play, he is a big wimp really!! I shouted at Maggie the other morning and he jumped on the sofa and hid behind the kids! ;D

Dozer had a good run off lead this morning ;D thought I'd try and tire him out before he goes to Ian and Leslie's!! His recall is really good, better than Lola's in fact. So sorry he couldn't stay but Lola is being a real moo, she'll lull him into a false sense of security and let him play then suddenlt turn on him! Poor Dozer He has been a pleasure to have, hopefully someone will see him for the wonderful dog he is soon and offer him a forever home. (preferably with a big sofa cos he really likes to stretch!!!)

Thanks Vicky, you have given him a lot of fun. Well, his next adventure is about to start, with the big boys Let's hope that they are gentle with him and teaching him respect nicely. He is such a soppy sod. ;D

Thanks Vicky for doing a good job with Dozer. Has Lola calmed down at all today now that Dozer's not there any more. Well we've had Dozer since late morning. He is very loveable but needs quite a firm hand (not literally) as I think he would run rings around you otherwise. Snoopy has put him in his place as have the cats; Bran... well... is just Bran. ;D Took him out for another walk after we got home to work off some more energy; I put the halti on him just in case he pulled, because he is like his name suggests a bulldozer when he wants to be, but he walked beautifully. This afternoon we took all 3 out and again he was really good. Didn't think he was going to pee today , but thankfully went out about half an hour ago and went, so I think that must be a good sign. Will post piccies when I remember to get batteries for my camera.

He can hold it in can't he!! It's really quiet here without him and Lola does seem a lot more settled. I felt so guilty when you drove away and he just sat there looking at me Glad he is settling well and behaving though. He does it need a firm hand but he can be such a wimp too!!

I know what you mean about being a wimp. The cats had told him off a couple of times but he still insisted he wanted to play. Tigger was sitting in the kitchen, Dozer went up to her jumped, play bowed and then ran away, it was so funny.
He does keep trying it on though and Snoopy really put him in his place this morning. Dozer came up on the bed way too fast and bouncy and that was it Snoopy told him off and he has actually learnt now to give Snoopy his space. That's all he wants - he doesn't do 'in yer face'.
I know why they called him Dozer. Ian's turn for tea this morning; down he went and let them out of the lounge. All I could here was crash, bang as Dozer went through the dinning room into the kitchen, I think his tail must have hit everything it could. ;D
I'm glad Lola seems a bit more at ease. I'm wondering if it was Dozer being in her face too much. Perhaps she hasn't got it in her to go up a notch with the telling off, because he does seem to push it as far as possible. Snoopy warned him quite a lot yesterday but he insisted on keep coming back, and I think on the bed this morning was the last straw.

I hadn't realised how much he was upsetting Lola until now, she is back to her usual self already! It was so peaceful in our house last nght, the combination of him and a 7 month jack pup was just too much for her! When she tells Maggie off she backs off instantly but Dozer was a bit slow on the uptake and I think it was too much for her! He is a fantastic boy though and my lab loved playing with him as they were on an even keel whereas with Lola it's always on her terms and poor charlie always comes off worse! I do miss Dozer here though, I miss our cuddles

I'm glad to hear Lola is back to herself.
He's actually crashed on the bed at the moment; I wasn't sure that was possible.
Charlie (grandson) came this afternoon and he was really good with him. He is very happy to meet everyone as they come through the front door, but after that he laid down and got on with his bone.
He is lovely, not a nasty bone in his body.

No...I think Jess is nicely settled now. If you come on the Trent Park walk next week you'll be able to meet Dozer. He is lovely. Took the 3 of them to Capstone today and let them off. Dozer was really good. My 2 I could have happily swapped, little b#####s. They played with Dozer but where they are one each side and basically ramming him and of course any semblance of recall goes straight out the window. Bran and Snoopy were clipped up for most of the walk this morning. Dozer met some of the regulars and was fine with them, just wanted to play. No nipping so no need for a muzzle which was really nice, as although mine need one on I don't like seeing them. That may be it for today as the weather is rubbish at the moment and supposed to be coming in even worse later.

Dozer is creating some interest. A couple of enquiries over the weekend and one this morning. Not long to wait now little man for your forever sofa.

Braved the park again this afternoon. Oh did they have fun. They seemed to get on better today, although I had to yell a couple of times as Bran and Snoopy got a bit too boisterous.
I think Snoopy liked running with Dozer as at times it was just the 2 of them. He gave them a good run; he is very fast and very quick to turn. Reminds me a lot of Sykes. His recall is pretty good but he doesn't really go too far from you. It's not fair I have to keep giving up all the dogs with good recall. ;D
Finally got some batteries so I will post some piccies soon.

Finally some piccies. These were taken last night whilst watching TV. He got into his crate and then rested his nose on the bars And this one, obviously coming down stairs, closely followed by his shadow Snoopy. I have to admit we have all fallen for him. He is just gorgeous. On Saturday when we brought him home, I thought OMG what have we got here because he didn't stop moving. That was obviously not knowing where he was and everything being strange to him. Now he is wonderful, he has a walk and then settles down with the other 2; mind you if you go out of the room for 5 mins you get such a welcome from him ;D Your lucky to get that from Bran when you've been out for a few hours - all you get from him is "oh your back then" and promptly goes back to sleep. Whoever gets this lad will be one lucky family.

I thought the same when he first came here!!! He really is a very lovely lad though, I'm glad he is getting on well with your 2 now as he really loves other dogs. Lola just didn't love him ;D
