Sorry Helen, posted the thread to happy endings without commenting. We had another waif knocking!! Kee, now named Mickey, has gone to live with his lovely American mummy Janeen in guess where, sunny Kent. What is it with all these dogs emigrating down to Kent. Is it the weather, or the lovely people down there. ;D Mickey is going to keep Koda her Rodesian Ridgeback company. Have a lovely life Mickey. Thank you Janeen for taking such a gorgeous doglet on.

Mickey is no longer sharing settees with Annie & her compadres,
but with the handsome, laid back Koda:
Mickey with his new Mum Janeen, saying farewell to the Harlow Hooligans before leaving to become the latest recruit to the SLR Kent Contingent:
Many congratulations to all concerned.

Hi everyone, I am Mickey's new mum Janeen. He is learning to enjoy his life here in Kent, and we are all happy NOT to have any snow.... I'd love to link up with anyone else in the area.... I have photos posted on Facebook and he has an album on Kodak Gallery (if anyone is interested I will send you the invites to his albums).
He is adjusting well to life here. He was pretty cheeky the first few days - but I think our excercise routine has made a difference. I am a runner - and he is doing really well there - it only took him about 3 days to get the point of running and that he needs to be beside or behind me.
He is quite fond of my 5.5 yr old Koda - Koda wasnt too sure at first but they had a good play session the other nite and Koda is adjusting too...
My cats are retarded and they LOVE mickey - they are constantly head butting him and trying to pet themselves on them-- they are 18 and 17 and you'd think they'd be wary - but they love him.
He's got some fears about crates - but that is coming along well - i havent put him in there yet - but each day he is eating his meals in there - i just want him to realise that they arent scary bad things...
the dogs and i are heading off to N. yorkshire tomorrow for a few days of R&R - hopefully he will like it up there - i will post more later
i cannot post pix from this computer as it is my company one - but I will post pix in a few - just need to switch laptops...

hi everyone... well the journey up to N. Yorkshire today was not a fun one!!! Mickey does not like to ride in the comfy back ! he wanted to be in my lap - which of course was a BIG NO NO!! but i did get him settled on the seats behind me - i think he is part ferret though - i have a car barrier for the back (just for him as my RRs never think of going anywhere - and he kept climbing through a 3 in gap! and we hit tons of snow from Dartford to Nottingham.... took us 9.5 hours... but we got here safely and the dogs are sleeping by the fire
