Kee, (formerly Keano), is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed & Frontlined.
Kee was kindly taken on board by Julie as he needed out of the kennels, where he was very stressed & tried to eat his way out, resulting in a sore nose, (which is now recovering well). Regrettably Julie’s Delfin failed to see eye to eye with Kee big time, so he has come under SLR’s wing.
This is what Julie has to say about the lad:
Looks like Milo's less elegant and very scruffy brother.
He is fantastic with other dogs and just loves people, is well trained and has passed KC bronze and has his cert and rosette to prove it!! He is however very stubborn and VERY clever, but he knows No means No.
Travels well in car and fully housetrained.
Previous owner paid for dog behaviourist to advise him to stop him jumping up at people. I have been rubbish at keeping to this as he loves his cuddles and he is very gentle - sorry!!!
Only other problem seemed to be him misbehaving when left all day Thursday and Friday - mainly on the Friday. He was on his own and got very bored. Again his owner asked behaviourist about SA but I don't think he has this, I just think he likes his own way. I locked him in the kitchen with my other dogs yesterday as they were muddy and he started to really bark. Thinking he was upset I went outside to spy on him through the window - the brat was wagging his tail and barking to be let in so not SA.
I was told he was very fussy with his eating and didn't like much. In reality he eats like a horse and is always hungry. Loves Burns thankfully.
This dog is sooooo lovely he has just had 2 bad owners. His first was a single parent with a load of kids who didn't control or train him and he was left to his own devices. 2nd owner has put in all the hard work but his wife doesn't like dogs so any excuse for him to go.
I was told he hates crates as 1st owner used this as punishment.
He loves flyball.
I am sure you will love him - I am besotted with him.
Thanks for having him. Finally he can now have the chance to be a proper lurcher.
Kee travelled well in the houndmobile, & was completely unfazed at being greeted enthusiastically by the Harlow Hooligans.
Three lovely photos taken at Julie's house
Now do I look like a Jack Russell stuck on top of a sheep or what
How handsome am I ;D
And on arrival with the Harlow Hooligans
I can see that I'm really going to have my work cut out with this lovely chap - this is the sum total of how much bother he's been up to now:
I have to say that I've now joined the ranks of the "if onlys......"

Edited to add:
A huge thank you to Steve for bringing Kee up from Kent & taking Dozer on the reverse trip - this is very much appreciated.
