Tell Gem that. She raided the bread bin the other day and ate my Jacobs Fig Rolls.
Thought - "serves you right", but as she hasn't pebble dashed the house everything must have passed alright.

Orin has left the building! Anna and Paul were lovely, and Orin was curled up with them for most of their visit So, after a couple of hours of talking and Orin getting comfy with them on the sofa, the forms were signed and off they went. My mum and sister are very upset but I'm just glad he got a great home in the end. And Anna's promised to keep us updated and to post lots of pictures! And some final photos: Orin's last night here Fionn wondering what Orin's doing On our last morning walk Getting a cuddle from me before his visitors arrive Snuggled up with his new owners Leaving the house In the car So this thread can be moved to Happy Endings

Thanks everyone, it was lovely having him, but we've all been very upset since he left But we know he'll be having a lovely time in Sussex Here's a little update Anna sent me this evening: "Hi Rowan Just to say we are all home safely, the traffic was terrible, but the dog slept at least half the way! I will email later or tomorrow with a proper update." "Hi Rowan Just one photo for tonight, will do better tomorrow, would you like to post it to the Forum and I'll learn photo bucket in the morning! Orin (now Finn) finds the giant bean bag. Anna x" ;D ;D ;D

Hello from the Arts Hut in Herstmonceux - we are having great fun and there have been lots of waggy tail moments from Finn. He made a thorough inspection of the premises last night and tried out the dog beds, cushions, rugs etc. He found some very strange beasts in our Gallery, but as they didn't move or smell he wasn't fussed. He ate all his food, went for a wee in the garden and ignored Florence and Maude in their chicken coop. We showed him each room upstairs in turn and he simply sat down on the softest spot. In the end he fell asleep in the kitchen. We hoped he might settle there overnight, but he cried when he was left alone. We tried coming in and out, but that didn't work, so he came in with his new smaller pack. He is very cheeky as he hopped onto our bed and pretended to be fast asleep and unmovable, except I saw him peek at me out of one eye. Then he really did fall fast asleep in his own bed and needed encouragement to get up this morning. Today we took him on what will be his twice daily walk. He was good crossing the road, good when he saw two foxes and he made friends with the other saluki x in the village Rocky. We forgot the muzzle, so tried to keep our distance, but everyone wanted to meet him. Later on he had a sleep, then ate all his food and is currently being a charming combination of shy, bouncy or asleep. We are off to the pet store for his new coat this afternoon. Anna
