Just perfect. And Simba will have an extended family and extended dog family to see every day and enjoy walks with. The set-up for Simba with Betty is just perfect. Thank you Vicky for having him and looking after him. Another little one settled for Christmas. I hope he has a stocking ;D

He did go off with a liitle pressie from me and christmas collar from Kirsti who he lived with before coming to us, I'm sure he's going to have a very happy christmas! ;D Got a bit tearful as he went off I must admit!

An update from Betty yesterday after they got home. Betty went all the way over to Kent herself to pick him up. .............................
Simba is home after a bad journey on the roads ,he was as good as gold in the car . He has had some tea and now asleep alomg side me . Thank you so much for letting me have such a sweet old man .I will send some photos of him in his new home soon. bye for now Betty

What a lovely story, a very happy dog and a very young and joyful pair they make!
It's a shame some rescues dont look individually at the people and their circumstances who want to adopt a dog instead of concentrating on prohibiting certain groups of people from ever being considered. Something I know SLR dosent do.
