I expect you will have at least twenty offers at the meet and greet today to rehome him Jenny. Who would not want a little cat friendly dog. Good luck with his visit later, I am sure he will have had lots of home offers by the end of the day.

I think Jenny probably needs to catch her breath a bit!
I'm sure she'll let us know as soon as the dust of today has settled.

Sorry Peeps, I only got home half an hour ago!! I don't think I like motorways anymore. We set off at 2 p.m. today and popped into the girls at Braintree doing the meet and greet for them to meet little Monty. We then took Monty over to his new prospective mum and dad. That was 2.45 p.m. Things went well , Monty met the cats, and nosed little Sid, who was just curious, and we decided to leave him there and visit the retail park. If we did not hear from them before 5 p.m. we would come home and leave him with them. We did not hear and about £160 lighter, much to Michael's dismay, we headed home at 6.30 p.m. Things were trouble free until we got onto the M.11 at Stansted. Sudden deadlock. We were locked. I text Jules who tried to find out what had happened, but no news. We sat there for an hour and a half, very relieved that we had the dog blankets in the car. The Police finally headed us back up the motorway and off at Stansted. We made our way cross country to home. I got home to a message from Monty's new adopters. I phoned them, and someone has a very good sense of humour. On introducing myself I asked if everything was okay. The answer was "Not really". "Oh no",I said, "What is the problem". "Well, where do I start, he is too perfect" came back the answer. They love him to bits, and they just can't believe that such a lovely little dog has landed on their doorstep. I can! I love him to bits too. And Sue met him today and said that if they didn't keep him she would be picking him up and he wouldn't be going anywhere. Little Monty has been introduced to some of the family and just wags and wags and wags. Did I take my camera. - No I forgot that and the adoption paperwork and so poor Sue, who is babysitting little Monty for half a day tomorrow is going to do all that for us. And where is little lord Monty sleeping tonight - the bedroom!!!! No sex there for a few years then!!!! ;D Oh dear, little finger, round, comes to mind. But he is so so lovely. Can I got to bed now - I am shattered.

Aw... please like him, resident cats! I met Monty for the first time today and he is a real charmer. He wags and wags. Likes his grub though! Bless him.
