Yes, another failed fosterer joins the happy band of lurcher owners! I didn't really want another dog as my Jack Russell is diabetic and her insulin costs as much as a third dog each month. Still, if I don't eat or ever have a holiday we can afford him!I'm afraid my cat, Baggy, doesn't share my enthusiasm in fostering dogs, it's been a traumatic time for him. Not Ned's fault in any way, he's curious about Baggy, but in no way unfriendly.Therefore I thought as I'm only doing this once then I'll make it count! He just slotted in so well with the pack and our lives.
Awaiting paperwork to come through to proceed with neutering, vaccinating etc. Vet visit didn't go to plan as vet wouldn't discuss his care as he wasn't mine! Think they thought I'd just picked up some random dog and was prepared to pay over £200.00 to get him sorted!!! However, Ned behaved impeccably at vets, completely unfazed by whole event.
He's off lead on downs and beaches now. Recall is work in progress due to him developing a sensory overdrive of rabbititis!!! Recall better on beach where there's no rabbits.
Would love to upload some photos , Fran will show me how sometime soon I hope.
Sorry about failing, Jenny, but be happy in the knowledge Ned is very happy here.

Generally clean in home, just awaiting his vacs and neutering.

Well, update on Ned. 2nd visit to vet successful. He's begun his vacs and booked in for de- knackering. He can continue to polish his nuts until next Wednesday!!! Good boy at vets. So pleased he wormed his way into our lives. Will now try to email a couple of photos to Threedogs3 x
