Vicky, I'm sure Bracken would love a playmate!!!! Especially for cannicross. Just saying.........
Claire I am sure he would! But can't have a second dog where I live - landlord has been kind enough to let me have Bracken. If circumstances were different I think Lemon would be coming home with me (even though trying to run with TWO playful saluki's on a canicross line would come with it's own health hazard...it's hard enough with Bracken! 😂) I hope he finds a lovely home, and until then I shall look longingly at the photos!
Hello, I'm new to this forum, but familiar with the great work by SLR. You home checked us 3 years ago when we were last looking for a lurcher. Still in the same home in Weybridge, now with a 3yo. Husband Lurcher experienced. Looking to give a loving home to the right dog/bitch. Just curious if Lemon is still available or you are accepting enquires yet. (Oh just receive an email in from SLR - so will email there instead) Just wanted to add that he looks adorable in those stunning photos. Many thanks Katie
Sorry I keep meaning to update but life has been so busy. Graham was away 4 days last week so it’s been a bit full On.
Lemon or Charlie as he’s known to us has been booked in for his op on Friday morning. This means that we we ll both be at home for the first couple of days after and my Mum And aunt on the Monday. So the only news really is that the op is about to happen. He doesn’t show any pain with that leg but he sits more than any lurcher I have ever known and he has a very odd gait. It doesn’t stop him Instigating bitey face with Mags. I can’t wait until he is healed and can be free to run.
He adores Maggie so I would love to see him go To a home with another dog but he also adores human company so I think a busy home will suit him or where someone is around most of the time.
He’s a poppet. Such a wonderful character. He’s great with my kids.
He does like to steal things. Food mostly but all Manner of toys and objects have been chewed and destroyed and he’s taught maggie to take the books Off the shelf and chew them. Very unhappy when he attacked my David Bowie book.
Mostly he’s toileting outside. We have the problem Of the carpet smelling but I’d say that mostly he’s getting it. Not often during he walks but in the garden. Even the kids now congratulate him when he does a wee or poo outside.
He’s taken to the crate. And will ask at night to Go out by barking if he needs.

Charlie has gone in for castration and a X-ray on that leg today. Maggie misses him but it means I get to walk her in a long off lead walk which we’ve missed. Fingers criss d that leg is a simple fix x
