Aw what a lovely update, it looks like Frankie has well and truly landed on his paws and will be a much loved and spoilt Hound Completely agree with Toni. Sounds like this was meant to be 😊

That is a wonderful update Nick. I couldn’t bear seeing the bewildered look on his face as I stood at the gate to say goodbye, so I’m sorry I suddenly disappeared. Although I told you he is the most adorable little boy, you have to experience him firsthand to really appreciate just how special and how sweet he is. I know he can never replace your much-loved Tig and Lottie, but rescuing this little boy and taking him into your hearts will mean he can help the healing process. I know for sure he’s going to make you smile every day. I really miss this little boy and my only consolation at having to let him go is that he’s gone to a home where he’ll be so happy and loved as much as I love him. One more hug from me x

What a fabulous update. He is going to be one spoilt happy hound with you. The car sickness might be anxiety after his recent experience. I have found in the past that a ginger biscuit before travelling in the car helps. Hopefully he will soon get over it when he realises car means a fun outing.

Oops, it's been a few days... Big news for the little man, he now has a new name. We wanted to watch him for a day or so before choosing, to help pick one that especially suited him, and came up with "Cato" meaning shrewd or intelligent. He's a fast learner, and, you can really see when he's thinking deep canine philosophy as he furrows his brows deeply. (So cute!) Cato's skinny ribs and backbone are starting to fade, he's going to be a stunner. Or maybe I'm just biased. He is a real snuggler too, and hugely affectionate. So pleased that he is settling in so well. Angie

And for me, Cato reminds me of the character in the Pink Panther movies, this dog is a bit of a comedian, stunts no problem! Nick

19.5kg and feelin' gooood!
Apologies for the state of this video, didn't realise smartfones are crap for the job, plus my shaky hands.....
He's a real nutter but we love him. I'm in the middle of decorating the house, and so is he. We have different ideas about decor as you can imagine. Apparently ripped, chewed and puked on are the 'in' looks to go for. Who knew? Nick

He's a gorgeous nutter, I'm not surprised you love him. We are going for the mud and gutted soft toy theme of décor here at the moment. Hope Cato gets over the pukey bit soon.

Long tails are quite good with paint too! 🤣 Yeah, at first I though he had those LED lights that change colour at the end of his tail. The tip does look quite good in Frosted Mint though. Ours prefer the Mud Look to the Chewed Look these days 😂😂 We are going for the mud and gutted soft toy theme of décor here at the moment. He just walks past a soft toy and it explodes, weird. I'm not so sure I like the wattle & daub effect he's creating near the back door, it's a bit uneven, the nearer the dog flap the thicker it is.... Hope Cato gets over the pukey bit soon. He's only puked a couple of times, he's just very skilled at positioning it for maximum aesthetic effect.

He's so adorable, and what a difference from the day I collected him when he was sitting in a van looking frightened. It's great to see him having fun and being so happy
