The digital radio became a casualty of lurcher play today. Hey ho. I have discouraged play in the house due to the limited space, but no human witness of the incident as I was upstairs and heard the sounds of play and then the crash. I would ordinarily blame Zia as she is the one that usually instigates play. However Harpo taught Zia the bitey face game today and this misdemeanour might be on him. π πΎ πΎ The demolition duo getting ready for bed!

It was funny in that it illustrated each dogs sensitivity to sudden noise. Harpo is really sensitive and must have scared himself and had taken refuge in his bed at the back of the kitchen. Zia was completely unfazed and pleased to see me back down stairs! Listening to the radio through my tablet this morning.

There are four dog beds and two sofas Zia could lie on but she seems happy on the kitchen floor? It is heated but.....? The main reason for posting this photo is to show how Zia is filling out. Still a bit bony but no longer the waif that Emma and her family took in three weeks ago.

I was lucky to meet this beautiful girl yesturday as well the very handsome Harpo x She is a delight and her new family will be very lucky indeed xx Many thanks again for the use of your field Nicola. I hope you had a good time at lunch with your friend. Perhaps next time we might get to meet Indie and Pixie. My friend with the three Kelpies said something about them being mid height (?) for agility competition? xxx

As you can see Zia does not seem to be concerned about being put on the lead to go into the garden this morning (meant she could not join Harpo's charge to look for squirrels) and not being fed. We are off to the vets shortly. y

I just collected Zia from the vets. She was a model patient today. Understandably subdued.
Once we are past today, the next 10 days of lead walking only and no running and jumping is going to be a challenge.
Please stay calm and keep your πΎ πΎ on the ground Zia. βΊοΈ β₯

I'm sure she will be fine in less than 10 days. Just heard from the Vets - they have described her as sweet and patient. xxx

Zia has been a bit of a trooper so far. We just ventured out into the garden and she did all that was required without a murmur. Here she is tucked up for the night.
