I popped over to Jules this evening with a crate as the huge crate the relinquishing rescuer had offered was too big for Jules' car.
He is lovely. Does tongues!!! A little bullie in his mix, not much, but he has a lovely disposition. As we went into the building a little staffie came out and he just wagged and wanted to say hello. He is around 23/24" to the shoulder, so not sure if Greyhound X or not. He has manners, but gets enthusiastic on greeting. He knows sit and down. Gorgeous boy. x

I met with Harley's rescuer half-way between South Wales and Hertfordshire (in Royal Wootton Bassett, no less) at a rented field so Harley could have a runabout and we could get to know each other. He's mid-way between the 'wiggly puppy' and the 'elegant adult' stage growth-wise, is a wonderful dark chocolate brown colour with little white-tipped paws and a white flash down his chest that makes him look like a superhero in the middle of tearing off his normal clothes. Yep, there's a bit of bully in his mix but he's not heavily built, pretty whippety in fact, with a lovely muscle-y rear end! He's very cuddly and will sit on your lap and you, at the moment pretty much whether you like it or not! He has a deep big-boy bark and little cat feet. He's quite good on the lead; a little strong when he sets off or if something or somebody interesting appears. At the moment I'm just getting a feel for him and I'll work on any issues once I know what's what. For reasons involving Joe and a practical joke, the light-pull in my bathroom is a tennis ball. I have just had to remove it, as somebody keeps turning the light on and off and woofing at it. Some photos of him in action today; he's a happy dog despite all the changes he's had in his life so far. He has recall! Not tested with distractions yet, but he turns up and is happy to see you.

Great photos of a lovely, handsome boy. It's heartwarming to see how his life has already changed thanks to the lovely woman who spotted him on Gumtree, and to special SLR folks!

Popped out for ten minutes (I was lurking nearby). All quiet.
But (you need a little sound)...
No damage though, and no accidents.
