Hi there, just quick update on Tiger.. We have done 5km run today..he was very good on lead..running next to me beautifully..he is really good on the lead.. We went for coffee in the garden center and shopping in pets corner..he has behaved very well.. very calm, even though he is quite young he is very relaxed and not a trouble at all..! His first visit in the vets went well, 1st vacs behind us..next 2 lots in 4 weeks time..neutering booked for next Friday..(wanted to do it earlier but not much availability). At least he will have more time to settle in.His health check went well..healthy young boy..only few scratches on the legs and head, otherwise healthy young boy..(we had his hibs checked as well, as he is not very happy to seat..there is slight sensitivity in his right back leg when manipulated, but hope is only some past injury bruising - hope nothing to worry about, we will keep eye on it) We are planning to bath him soon but I think it will be a challenge as he is scared of water..he is just getting used to have paws cleaned after each walk..hopefully he accept the bath soon.. ) Looking at him, we think hi might have bit of borzoi hound in him...but who knows.. Here are some photos of Tiger relaxing after jog this morning..

Update on Tiger: What can I say - he is such a lovely dog..easy, well mannered, clean in the house (so far), good on the lead, great jogging partner... He seems to be pretty relaxed in busy places, like garden center or pubs.. He had his first bath..and it was not as bad as I was expecting..he was bit nervous to begin with, but with bit of assurance he was fine.. He still have runny stools..but is slowly improving with having protexin in his meals....(he fats a lot though..). He is very good with other dogs..sometimes bit too excited (with females) but hope this will change after he is neutered. He is such lovely friendly dog..I really hope that our 2 will accept him soon, as they are still grumpy with him..(i think is because he is much bigger than them + his testosterone levels....) Today we will try to leave him on his own gradually increasing from 10 min to at least 1 hour..we will see how it goes.. Here are some photos from our jogging yesterday..

Hopefully your dogs won't see Tiger as such a threat after he loses his plums. He is probably oozing testosterone!!!

Great updates. For some reason my computer won't allow me to click and expand those last photos. But he does look good. Hopefully the others are accepting him more now.

Hopefully your dogs won't see Tiger as such a threat after he loses his plums. He is probably oozing testosterone!!! It can still take several months for the hormone levels to subside so don't expect instant results. Hopefully they'll just get used to him being around and accept him for who he is.

Hello..some update on Tiger He is doing well, settling in nicely and slowly being accepted by Misty and Dingo.. He is very good with children, very calm..enjoys lots of walks as my hubby is a dog walker, therefore he joins in on lots of walks..he is very easy with other dogs..maybe bit too keen with females at the moment, but that will slowly go away after his operation (which is on Friday).. We are often so tempted to let him off lead as he is so good, but surely its too early.. we think he will be quite good with recall.. His digestive system is still adjusting..lots soft poops, but slowly improving.. Trying to do some training on basic commands as seat, down and stay..not doing very well in this field..stay is ok, but seat - so difficult to make him seat..but i am sure we will get there eventually.. He is quite funny boy who makes me laugh..I think he is only around 1 year old..he quite often acts like a puppy (big puppy though.. )) Here are some photos: Tired tiger..(he looks like after heavy night drinking)..

Brilliant photo's of him sliding off the sofa! That did make me laugh. If I was in the market for another hound this boy would be top of my list.
