Both Scruff and Harley convalescing together, although Scruff is wizzing around the house with his toys, he obviously had no idea what a ball was until I introduced him to the world of proper dog play. He is the sweetest most loving character you could wish for .He loves his cuddles on the sofa, settles down all night without a peep, NO counter surfing , absolutely no aggression towards my 3 , and is soooo enthusiastic in the morning with mega hugs. He is a joy to foster.

Don't worry Tina, he's not a FF. Lily was my FF, so no room at the inn. BUT he is a superstar and will be hugely missed.

D Day tomorrow, scruff and I are meeting Tina (Huckworthy Hounds ) for handover. I will miss this bundle of happiness and fun so much, as will my pack, he has taken everything in his stride from living in a home enviroment to being flattened by a delinquent wolfhound on a regular basis. He has such a wonderfull character and boasts the heart of a lion. I have so many offers from kind people to rehome him that in itself speaks volumes about this special boy . Tissues at the ready for tomorrow's handover, blubbing as I type this. Happy life ahead for (new name) Baggins

Oh dear, you do have my sympathies. Most of us that have fostered have been there and done that and it is horrible. Get the tissues and the wine ready and just remember, he is going to a lovely home and you will hopefully get regular updates
