Bless her. It must be so scary for a blind dog. Hope all goes well and keep calm vibes for you, Claire.

As predicted I received a call at 1 o'clock to go collect madam as she was awake and crying for me Operation all done, hernia sorted out too. Snuggled on the sofa next to me now, all settled

Little Jemima had a really settled evening and night. She didn't want food which I was not concerned about, having been through a few spays now I know she will eat once she feels better. So apart from having to carry her up to bed and down again, she has been no problem. She had a pee and a little breakfast this morning and is quite content to be on the sofa with a cosy blanket. It does mean I can't do much as I can't risk her trying to jump down to follow me.... a good excuse to be sat down with a good book In some ways it's quite sad, she seems to just 'accept' her fate. She is so dependent on her human. But she is very happy in her own little way. Safe, warm, fed and loved.

Bless her, that's all she probably needs, to be safe, fed and warm and she sounds very loved. Have a nice restful day with her And enjoy your book!

Bless her. Her world must be a scary place and she probably feels safe wrapped up in a blanket near you Claire. Just have a lazy day on the sofa with her.

Jemima is such a little poppet. You honestly wouldn't know she had major surgery 2 days ago. Not one murmur. Ok, she isn't jumping around like a youngster would but except for lifting her up and down on the sofa she is the perfect patient. ♡♡♡♡♡♡ So much love for this little girly ♡♡♡♡♡♡

Was thinking about sweet little Jemima, Claire, and I guess she is recovering very well under your gentle care - please give her a little from me.
