What about trying Celadrin? It's a natural anti inflammatory and is working really well for my old girl who can't take Nsaids. www.ace-canine.com/flexceladrin.html
Thanks Echo, I've never heard of Celadrin so I'll check it out.

How lovely to see Ben enjoying being part of a pack. Thank you Carmel. You are a treasure ♡ Claire, huge thanks from me and Ben the Bear for his Gabapentin!! He asked if he could have one straight away but I had to remind him that he can only have one every 8 hours. Poor boy went off in a sulk and I had to give him some pretend "medicine" (pooches all have their meds in a slice of wafer thin ham!).

How great to see a pack of oldies having fun together. So pleased to hear how well Ben is doing. It's always a bit of a worry when you have to change meds but it sounds like he's doing fine. I hope your hand heals quickly!

Carmel, we have some Gabapentin left from the Rockster, would you like it for Ben ? Received today - many thanks!! For however long Ben is with us (and I'm planning on that being for a good while yet!) SLR won't need to pay for any more Gabapentin. You are all wonderful people

No problem at all. I know we have no further use for it and as it's all paid for I'd rather it went to good use than get disposed off

Ben popped over today with Carmel. He made me laugh as he spied himself in the hallway mirror and kept going back and forwards to admire himself. He truly is a lovely lad. He and Sasha had a little play bow but she is a bit full on for the old boy.

We had a lovely visit! I got tea, and Ben got treats - yum yum!! Jenny has caught Ben's expressions very well - he really was quite entranced by his reflection (well, I find him rather good-looking too... ) and was quite miffed when I accidentally blocked his view. He settled well with Jenny's pack (the only one he hadn't met on arrival day, I think, was Sasha and as you can see she was also quite taken with him Sasha is gorgeous, by the way!! If you haven't met this girl you really need to get over to HQ - she's pretty, playful and responds well to commands.
