What a gorgeous girl! She looks like a similar size to Gem and she clearly enjoys her zoomies just as much! I bet her forever home isn't far away :-)

What a cutie - she really reminds me of Hans's Louie in miniature. If she has his strengths (which it sounds like she does), someone is going to have a super dog. She really does remind me of a mini Louie. If she is half as good as him then someone is going to be very lucky in the mean time I'm very glad she has applications as I can safely look at her thread!! X

Well, the first protein rush happened this morning. She did the wall of death around the lounge, jumping from sofa to sofa, into the kitchen, around the dining table and back into the lounge to continue with the wall of death! I would say there is a lot of whippet pup coming out in her. I left her in the crate again for 10 minutes whilst I popped upstairs to make beds etc. and after 5 minutes of initially protesting she did go quiet, but so excited when I came back down. I completely ignore them when they are like this and they soon settle. The girls have been so helpful, checking her and putting her in her place when she is OTT. Sofi is very good at this. Yesterday Penny came over to help me walk the dogs that she will be walking once I move, and to see how Tilly was with new situations. She was off-lead the whole time. I did take a film but managed to take it with the camera upside down!! I will try to get some more film today or tomorrow. A good walk, but I took a phone call on the way back and forgot the pond!!! Yep, Tilly can swim. She leapt straight into the 7 foot deep pond that little Rory fell into once, swam to the edge and hooked herself out before I could leg it there! Covered in algae, she shook herself down and strutted back to me... She is brave, she is friendly, she is mad, and she definitely needs to go to an active home where someone will use her speed, stamina and intelligence. She would be so unhappy as a normal sofa dog. Perhaps flyball, agility or a running mate. You have to love her. She is crashed out on the sofa behind me at the moment with Honey. Typical hound, but a hound with bounce!!!

Lovely happy face on her. Nice, convenient size dog. Probably won't get much bigger? Hope Big Ed's not sensitive about his size! Stocky Choccy boy.

Well she's still here. I have lowered her protein and the wall of death has stopped, thankfully. Tilly is getting used to her crate, still protests for five minutes, but a lot better. She has met so many people and dogs over the last week and has absolutely no problems. She likes to be busy, given a job. And I have now started to load Kongs, or put chews inside toys to give her brain some work. She travels well in the crate. We have had several applications but this is what Tilly needs PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU WORK AWAY FROM THE HOME, EVEN IF YOU ONLY WORK PART-TIME. SOMEONE AROUND MOST OF THE TIME I WHAT SHE NEEDS. She needs someone around most of the time. So a home preferably with two people in it. A dog that will run and play. She and Annie have lovely running times. An active home where they will be able to let her off lead and explore the countryside with her. To be able to sleep in a bed in the bedroom. She is absolutely well behaved and silent all night. She has to get up her confidence. If she could find someone who loved agility she would love it. I have already been training her and she is a potential. Children are fine, but she might whiplash a little one with that tail or knock them flying indoors. Her recall is superb. She is just beautiful. And those ears?! Do you prefer them like this? Or like this?

Little Tilly went to her new Foster home today, but will stay one night with foster carer Simon and Helen. I have such a big workload here at the moment and it wasn't fair on her to have no fun. She is an absolutely fantastic little dog. She is going through the puppy stage, but with another young dog to around with with her new foster Mike and his wife Jillian, she will be so much happier. We will miss her morning cuddles on the bed (the only time she is allowed on the bed) and her lovely sits with her paw up for you to get a treat. She is clever, she is lovable and she will make the most fantastic family member. She is in beautiful condition and her coat shines. I hate passing fosters on, but I have a few hard weeks ahead with my move and the Rescue and I was only supposed to be a stop-gap for this little lady. We took some photos this morning and a video. Click on the video to view. She loves her antler. She just fits on a stair rung.

Dogs are so 'in the moment'. They don't existentialise or dwell on negativity. Wonderful. Cried and sang quite a lot on the drive home, having been better 'cared' for by Margot's Corps de Ballet on the trip down from Jenny this morning. Stuck in the back without cuddles in my car was not her preference. We introduced her to The Boyz too quickly and she was overwhelmed for a while, but not long. Loves exploring! Looking forward to a walk later. Might consider some off lead, as we'll do a very simply route and have some very tasty treats in hand. She likes treats and cuddles, so with the spaniel (?) in her, she'll be fab to work with. She jumps onto table tops with ease and I've seen her 'looking for trouble' with stuff to pick up and take away for what I imagine is not likely to end well for the stuff. Only medium voice of doom required for instant correction. For a so much puppiness, she's very responsive. Would love to try some clicker sessions, but we've only got her for 36 hours.

Bless her. So much change in the last few weeks. Has she sat and held out her paw for a treat yet? It is so endearing. And yep, she is quick to thieve, and so fast it is hard to get the thosen item back off her. She is a bundle of fun and naughtiness. She won't be overwhelmed by the boys for long. She'll soon be running rings round them.
She has a sixth sense, and knows who and what dogs to approach and does the submissive puppy crawl with legs hanging out the back. It is so cute. Enjoy Simon. I have been blitzing the house since she went and finding food coupons etc she has stolen off the fridge..
