We got a phone call earlier this week from a lovely family who had taken on little Arnie, but realised they could no longer give him the attention that a little pup needs. He is definitely Beddie X whippet, but a couple of weeks younger than first thought. They found him on an internet site, and when they got to the location they found it was a traveller caravan site. They couldn't leave without him, paid the £200 and he immediately poo'd and presented them with worm infestation. He was described as bearded collie x. They have had him four weeks. He has had all his vaxes (surprised the vet started them that early!) and has had Milbemax. Arnie is such a loving and level little man. And doesn't stop wagging that tail. The family have done well with him and certainly have done the right thing by Arnie. Penny is fostering him. He was absolutely fine with her Colin, around the same size. He is currently around 8 inches to the shoulder!! Colin perked up when little Arnie came in, so hopefully it will give Colin a bit of an incentive to be chirpier. I am sure Penny will post some photos shortly. I only have a couple and they really don't do this lovely little one justice.

I suspect there is a queue forming already for this little lad. Well done to the family for getting him out of a bad situation.

He has a short little nose and thick looking ears. Gorgeous boy!. Flo looked similar at 8 weeks but longer features and thiner ears. Hope the right home with plenty of energy! Comes along soon X

First night went well here! All but one wee has been in either the garden or on his puppy pad! He loves my kids and will play for hours even though he's so young and his favourite game appears to be fetch which he's very good at! So I think training and recall will be a doddle with this one as he's very quick to learn! At bed time we had about 5 minutes whimpering before he settled in his crate for the whole night and all I found in the morning was a little pee on his pad. I'll try and get a video later of him playing fetch! He's desperate to play with my Colin but that's never going to happen as Colin doesn't do playing!!! This pup may be teeny tiny but is not for the faint hearted as he likes to play rough!!! Overall after one night I can say that this is a very cute, extremely intelligent bundle of mischief!! More photos and video to follow later.

Penny brought him over today to see if we could find a small enough collar for him. Thanks to Auntie Ro's collar collection here we found one, a little bit wide, and he tries to scratch it off, but it'll do for now. I took a short video of him playing with the toys and some photos of him with the pack here. Click on the photo below to view the video and see just how tiny this little man is. More to follow

Gosh! He really is tiny isn't he. Don't be fooled! What he lacks in size he makes up for in personality!
