Glad Dotty's op went well. Lots of heal quickly vibes on the way. Ditto.

Thought I had better update Dottys thread. She is doing really well. She has healed really well after her op, you can hardly see the scar. Her leg swelled up last weekend so I took her to the vets to get it checked. He seemed to think that it wasn't bone related but an infection, he gave her antibiotics and said lead walks .well a week on the swelling has gone down. She really loves to play with all dogs big and small but was finding it hard to really play on the long lead. We took the plunge and let her off. There are a few dogs over the park who go there every day, Dotty just loves playing with them, an Alsatian youngster, a young snauzer, a very big tan coloured dog. Also she has great fun running around the park trying to catch Flo, who George and Maureen adopted. She is very nosey and goes in to every garden or up every pathway. At home at first we put her in a cage at night and she would cry anytime between 3.30 and 5.30 in the morning to go out for a wee, funny how ray never heard her. She did wee indoors at first , always near the door. We did tell her " no" and she would jump straight on the settee, this little girl does not like being told off. After a couple of weeks we tried her out of the cage, no accidents. So now that has been put away. She has to go out for a last wee at night and has been so good. In the day she will go to the door when she wants to go out. She just loves Ray and jumps up on the sette and he has to put his arm round her and she sleeps over him. She is a typical lurcher, a little thief and will walk off with alsorts. She is scared of the Hoover and will curl up nearly on top do Paddy for security.
She is the most amazing little diva and a very special little girl.

What a sweet girl Dotty sounds. Glad she healed well and the antibiotics knocked the bone infection in to touch. Bless her. Has she been around children? Cats? Sorry if you posted these details earlier in the thread. X

Sorry if you posted these details earlier in the thread. X She hasn't been around children but we have cats, she chased one but will sit at the bottom of the stairs and look at them.

Dotty is continuing to flourish. The week we have a hius guest, Flo. George and Maureen are away so she is staying with us. Flo loves to curl up right next to Ray but a certain little girly gets jealous and will try to squeeze in between or she slides around the back of her. Flo loves to run around the park with all the dogs there, usually in the morning there are around 7 dogs and they all play. It's so nice to see them enjoying theirselves. Here are a few pics in the park X
