Tatty is a lovely little chap, he was very well mannered in the car and just loved the company of Jake and Willow. He will flourish with the TLC that Keith will give him and we look forward to seeing him again on the walk.

He already has had worming. The advocate covers worms and fleas Keith. I wouldn't overworm him at this point.

Picked up Tatty from Mike and Jillian after their mammoth road trip. Thank you very much to them for getting him down here so quickly. He is not as small as he looked, in that he is as tall as Hugo, but desperately skinny under that fluffy coat. He is certainly keen to fix that, his feet are up at the edge of the work tops at any opportunity, so there are lots of shouts of Down! And No! At the moment, but I'm sure he'll soon get the hang of civilised behaviour! He is certainly not deaf, as he was looking at all the new noises here, such as our striking clock in the kitchen. Nor is he dumb! While out with the crowd on Whitecliff this afternoon he was bouncing on the end of the lead, wanting to run and play with the others, and his frustration built up so much he was barking and singing briefly! We're off to see Uncle Graham shortly for his first check up and to plan his treatments....vaccine, neutering etc. We'll be glad when he has been "done", as he might stop wanting to mark everything with a drip of wee! That hasn't stopped our two males Leo and Shawn every chance they have to wee,and if you stand talking too long Shawn will try and wee up your leg ,

What a great comment for a prospective adopter to read! His urge to mark every corner has subsided already. I think it was part of the nervousness at all these new places. He slept in a crate beside our bed last night, and I'm happy to report he slept right through without waking me up. He didn't like our bare wood stairs though, and had to be carried up and down. We'll spread an old sheet down over for a couple of days, that usually works. As it was frosty this morning and he was going to stay on the lead, I tried some coats on him...... Hugo's fleece Coat jenny grabbed quickly....note how far back the strap is! So I settled for this one we had. Bit of a bum-freezer, but not dragging in the mud! Some more photos from yesterday. He was not shy to ask for attention Standing beside Hugo...similar height, but not build! Finally he let his head droop! After the walk this morning he dared to lie down beside Hugo He is a lively, friendly little boy, and I think he'll fit in easily wherever his forever sofa may be....

Lovely update Keith. I kept him on the lead for the first hour here so that I could stop him marking and then take him onto the patio to do his business. He is such a quiet little chap. I think he has been used to his own company for most of the day and night, so resigns himself to the fact that he is not going to be heard even if he does ask. xx

We're keeping an eye on him, and letting him out whenever he goes near the back door.
He's more relaxed today, but still gets up to look whenever either of us move!

I may have a coat that will fit him Keith - I have had a few donated over the time I have been fostering. Its reddish/pink but may fit him. I'll bring it in Sunday.

The difficulty is that he is very skinny, but has quite a long back. I'm sure he won't worry about the colour! See you Sunday!
