I did the home check for Ollie and can assure you all that he is going to a 5* home, deep in the Devon countryside with two friendly and happy sighthound playmates (and slaves) and weekend walkies on the beach. I think he is gonna be happy Have a safe journey tomorrow Christine xxx

We're home in East Devon with Ollie. He travelled very well and we all then went for a walk across the fields and he had a little paddle in the stream. He's just had his dinner which he really enjoyed. Thanks to everyone at SLR (especially Christine) for doing such a wonderful job of looking after him. I know it must have been hard to let him go as he is such a loving dog.
I will post some pictures of him later

Tearful here for Christine as she put so much into his rehabilitation and I am sure Mick and Carole are proud and happy to see him settled. xxx Beautiful countryside. I am sure Ollie will appreciate it very soon. xx

A lovely outcome for you all, a smashing new home for Ollie in beautiful countryside and with a loving new family. As hard as it is for his Fosterers to see him go it must be heartwarming to know that he has a warm, caring new home with smashing playmates.
Welcome to Salukisrule, you wont find nicer folks than on this Forum !!

Wonderful news for Ollie. Congratulations to his new family for recognising what a great dog he is and giving a home thanks to all the SLR people who helped him on his way.
