Bless him. I remember meeting him and the Fun Day last year when he was with Barney. He is a smashing hound.

Aw Ollie, it makes me sad that you are still waiting. I have one big boy and 4 girls and Jethro is the softest mummy's boy ever. I don't think you can do more than you already are. You are perfect and the right home is there, we just need to find it!

OllieBlog!Call me Prince Ollie
I've been to visit the Queen! Well, not actually visit, we went to her garden, but we didn't see her. The Human took me and Daisy to a place called Virginia Water - not sure why it's called "water" it's pretty obvious there's water there... it's a lake!!! We met Freddie the Spaniel and his Human. He was a bit naughty. He bit a dog! Yep, he just snapped at this dog walking past and actually bit him. Apparently he does that with dogs if they come close to him and his human doesn't make him wear a muzzle. TH said I was pretty good, especially as I was happy to walk alongside Freddie (the teeth) Spaniel. I did have one "moment" when this crazy little dog came running at me. TH said it was understandable, but I must learn not respond even if it's a crazy out of control dog. I'm going to keep working at this. I was disappointed not to see the Queen as we walked for ages towards this Castle. TH said the Queen has Corgis so I was particularly keen to meet them. But there was no sign of them. I thought they might come out to see who we were and sniff me and Daisy, but I guess it was rather a long way for them to run, especially as TH says they have short legs. I thought I could make out a small dog in the distance at the Castle but TH said it was probably a bird. (Note to self: get TH to take my muzzle off next time so my fans can see my lovely long neck)

Sounds like a lovely day trip. Well done for not following Freddie "the teeth"'s example. Shame you didn't bump in to the queen or her corgis.

I love Virginia Water - great place for a walk. Good boy Ollie but what about poor Comet was he left behind? Sorry you didn't see the Royal corgis.

OllieBlog!BoosteredThe Human took me to the V-E-T this week to get my booster vaccines. Not sure why it's called "booster" as it didn't make me feel boosted, in fact I felt a bit sleepy afterwards and found it a bit difficult to work out where to put my legs when I got into one of the beds. TH says it wasn't the boosters, it's because I like sleeping, especially in a soft bed. I like being near the rest of the pack but I'm pretty confident these days and if there's no vacant bed I fancy upstairs with them then I'll go downstairs and find one. Sometimes I even go into the crate... I like it in there. Anyway, the V-E-T said I was in tip top health - no murmurs, whatever they are. I certainly couldn't hear anything so I guess that's good. I was very good about getting onto the table with no legs which everyone was very pleased about. It somehow managed to tell everyone that I weighed 23 kilos. I didn't mind everyone knowing because it means I'm strong and fit and manly. TH joked about me wanting a "six pack" next and I'm hoping that means six packs of treats! Daisy came with me for moral support, which was nice. I didn't really like being in the vets but I managed to ignore all the other dogs waiting to go through "that door" and the V-E-T didn't seem to mind crawling under the table with me in order to give me the jab. It didn't take long and I got a treat from the V-E-T. In fact I was much braver than Daisy, she wouldn't take the treat, but that was fine cos I got hers as well... hahaha! Here I am trying to fit my long legs into the bed. Not sure what went wrong as I've had no problem before. I'm sure it was because I was so sleepy. (Note to self: must get TH to take Daisy with me everywhere so I can have her treats!)
