Well, what a difference a few months makes! Sometimes it's difficult to see how much things have improved when you live with someone every day, but much easier for those who don't see you often. When we stayed with Ruth and Mike in November Gracie made it clear that Mike was not on her Christmas card list! She would watch him all the time, bark if he moved and wasn't really happy with him being in the same room as her at all. She was a little cautious when we arrived on Saturday, but after a little sniff she accepted a treat from him! A little later she went to him and let him scratch her ears :-) She was still a little cautious if he came towards her too quickly, but otherwise quite happy and asked for cuddles a couple of times last night. No barking at him, no watching him... I was so proud of her! Yesterday we went from this: To this: And finally to this: So proud of her for how she coped! Strange house, strange walk, new people, lots of doggies... and she could still chill out like this in the evening! :-D She was very pleased to be home this evening though, running from room to room to make sure everything was as she left it! Now she's sparked out on the sofa, bless her xxx

Bless her, she is such a good girl. She just takes a bit of time to get used to things.

Love this precious girl. Xx Me too... she may not be (to some) the prettiest/daintiest but to me that's part of the attraction. She's such a lovely girl, just needs a little time to feel trust in her humans. She's a 'heart' dog for sure. If I could persuade OH to have three, I'd be knocking.

Smile! Gracie coped really well with our weekend away and didn't show any anxiousness once we were home either, which is all good news. We've got Harriet the labrador staying for 5 weeks and they all seem to be enjoying each other's company. Grace is most definitely Top Dog, but Jasper seems to enjoy prancing 'round his ladies!

We took a stroll along the beach for our afternoon walk today and Grace seemed to enjoy it much more than last time. Can't believe we had it all to ourselves! :-)

We had a bit of white stuff on the walk this morning. Grace wasn't too sure about it to start with... She was a good girl compared to the other 2 this morning - they found a dead muntjack. The less said the better! And this is a rare sight: Grace in a dog bed! It's not hers, but one can't have everything! :-)
