Aston's owners have had to move into rented and will be there for the foreseeable future, and think it unfair to keep him at their mums, who is finding it hard to cope with an extra dog. Aston is cat friendly and child and people friendly. He is currently living with a cat. Here is what his relinquishing owners have to say about him "His mother is a greyhound and his father a whippet. I am not sure if he would be classed as a little lurcher as I have never seen him against another but he is a little taller than a bearded collie. He doesn't live with children under 12 but when he sees my niece and nephew he is good as gold with them and lets them play (and pull!) with him. He currently lives with a cat which he plays with nicely, will sleep next to and follow around". ......................................... Here he is. He is around 23/24" to the shoulder. HE IS NEUTERED AND VACCINATIONS UP TO DATE.

I know someone who may be interested in this lovely lad.
May I ask what his temperament/energy levels are like? And can he be left for short periods ok? (Very rare, cos they work from home.)

Yep, he is a lovely lad and not overly over the top. And can be left for short periods. Email me missus. x

Hi. Is this boy reserved now? Any chance you would rehome to Devon? We have a rural home, 2 lovely resident whippets and 3 dog-savvy cats. Thanks.

Hi carriec I am afraid that all the SLR folk are at their Annual Funday fundraiser today so will probably not pick up your message for a few days. Your best bet for now is to complete an adoption application form, which you will find a link to on the home page and when Jenny is "back at work" so to speak I am sure she will be in touch. And yes we do rehome in Devon, that's where I live
