Yep, passed inspection with flying colours!
Made friends with a gorgeous white labradoodle and ignored a cat in a carry-cage, and then we went to visit P@H where he got excited looking at the bunnies and then cocked his leg over some boxes! We made our purchases and quietly left the building.
Went for a walk and did a little recall training and walking to heel, then lazed in the sunshine with the odd game of chase and bark at the birds.
Will try and post some pics tomorrow.

Took Bailey and Saffy to the off-lead field again today and they had a great time. They had five or six really big chases all round the field and wore each other out. Bailey was fairly good on recall today, ignored me twice, but came back to me four times for treats. He had his first major bath tonight and was very well behaved, you can do anything to him and he doesn't object. The only thing he's not keen on is wearing his halti and he managed to push the noseband up over his ears today, and I had the devil of a job trying to get it off him.

So pleased to read it's all going well.
If the Halti is proving difficult, have you tried the "figure of eight" with a rope lead? It's very simple yet effective.

He's getting cheekier by the day! We're now having lots of puppy play and he won't leave Saffie alone. She gives us a look that say's 'here we go again' and chases him off her bed, her blanket, her chew, her toy ..... and then rolls over and invites him to play again. Roy had a post-op check up on his shoulder at the hospital the other day where Bailey was much admired and had lots of people petting him and saying how beautiful he was. We've had a thunderstorm for the last hour and he and Saffie have just decided they don't want to stay downstairs anymore, he doesn't seem at all worried and is busy chewing on a kong that he left on the bedroom floor earlier today, and has now just curled up and gone to sleep in the middle of the bed. He's now getting used to meeting other dogs when we're out and is not quite so OTT when greeting them, and is loving being able to spend time playing with each of them and then moving on to the next. The whole world is a playground to him and he loves everything in it. He is just so friendly and lovable, a sheer joy to have around. We'll get some more pics of him shortly.

He sounds gorgeous, and very like my Hamish in his outlook on life - Every other dog is his new best playmate.

Bailey is now in Dogs Needing Homes. We had to wait for an extensive check and paperwork to be issued to the Rescue in our name before we could officially put him on the rehoming list. Now all registered to SLR. I met this lad in Dorset whilst on holiday, and he is a lovely boy. Playful but not Over The Top with it. He was off lead playing with the other hounds and came back to his foster mum for his treats when called. He is a leggy boy of around 25" to the shoulder now and I think has stopped growing.
He definitely would be happier with another dog to play with. So, if you have a lonely hound looking for a playmate, get in touch.
