Jethro would leave over my dead body He's my big furbaby. Although that is probably not what I feel at 6am when he tells me he's hungry! Sniffy 24 hours on: Lovely to walk, friendly, confident....counter surfs, asks for attention, nicks socks...gorgeous

So pleased that Sniffy is settling in and chilling out. She sounds perfect.

We took Sniffy to manor farm's enclosed dog walking area today. Got some lovely footage of her chasing a ball (I will endevour to upload it later). She doesn't seem too bothered about other dogs, choosing to chase a ball or frisbee instead. Really friendly to everyone humans and dogs. She hasn't encountered children with me but her previous owner said she was everyone and everything friendly. This lovely girl is crate trained, happily sleeping all night in one. She has raided my bin and continues to unmake my beds by hidding under the covers but she has settled in fairly quickly. Her recall is good too, motivated by food she offers her paw and sits nicely. An all round lovely girl. ♡♡♡

Sitting in the shrubs. I'd just cleared a load of weeds. Unfortunately I can't seem to upload a video from pb will transfer from my phone to tablet and do it from there...hopefully. She's not a fast as my greys but can give a good chase. :-)

We took sniffy up to Manor Farm again today. There were lots of dogs of different shapes and sizes. She behaved beautifully with them all. We tried some ball chasing which she loved but was really good at frisbee, just needs practice on the timing of her jump. She recalls very well. Once she's had her op on Tuesday, I think she'd be ok off lead in a more open field. She knew to come back to me even though we are new to her.She tends to stay close to me and my pack. Jethro tried to play with her but his size and bad manners stopped that little game. She is, however, a playful dog.

Sniffy and Jethro played racey chasey today at Manor Farm. It was lovely to see, of course I didn't have my phone or camera with me. My blooming back is sore again so only carrying poo bags and chucking implements for ball games and frisbee. Think i may need to live in Tenerife. Guess who's bottom this is?

She really is beautiful and at least she's fairly laid back so is settling well but must miss her owner. There's an 8yr old at Romford Owners being returned to the kennels as his owner is critically ill, an 11 yr old with Kerry Greyhounds, another coming into Accolade Hounds and no doubt more around. It makes me so sad for their owners and for the poor confused dogs. We all want to squeeze another one in to help.

It does upset me but at least Sniffy is coming into a stable loving home and not kennels..they do their best but most would agree kennels are not ideal. It must be very distressing to let a much loved dog go after years of companionship :,(

Sniffy enjoys puddles The next pics are small because photo bucket is p#$$ing me off! I keep getting hijacked by casino apps!
We had an amazing time up the common. Sniffy on a training lead was brilliant. She came everytime I called her, she returns to the whistle. Play bowed to other dogs before playing, such a confident and balanced dog! She doesn't move far from us. Just an absolute pleasure to walk. (If only I had more money )
