Freddy has had an exciting day today. He has had his bath at last. I thought he would be up the stairs like a shot, but no. I put treats up the stairs to get him up, until he realised that the cats get fed half way up the stairs. He really didn't want to have a bath and I think that I was more wet that he was. He tried to get out a few times then he just stood there till I finished. When we go out on walks he is like a steam train and pulls so much, I went and bought a halti today, wow what a difference. At first he did try to get it off but after a short time he was great on the lead.

Freddy, Paddy and Fiona came to visit today for Freddy to be handed over to Boo for fostering for the next week whilst Fiona and Ray are on holiday. I managed to get some photos on the lawn. Freddy is so small!! I was surprised. I expected him to be much larger, but fully grown now he is only around 23" to the shoulder. He has a lot of pent up energy as he has been waiting for nearly 6 weeks to be able to have a run. Just a week longer Paddy and the last x-rays and you can run around. He had a lovely play with little Tilly pup here, can fit her whole head in his mouth. I would say that he is whippet x collie now that I have met him. More of a Collie set body than deep chested. He is still a baby, and would definitely love to be a second dog in the family. He just loves to play with other dogs. It's really hard to get a photo that shows how lovely this boy is in real life. But I've tried to show his stature in these And his beautiful face And lastly, with Tillypup

Sorry for not updating for a while. We were away last week so Freddy went to stay with Boo and Ruby for a week. I hear that he was full of beans and very "interested" in Ruby. He was there until the weekend then he spent a night with Casey and Finlay. I met Casey at lunch today and brought him back home. I am beginning to think that they have swapped him with another dog. He is very chilled, not going mad running around. He has been curled up on the sofa most of the afternoon. He either missed us and is thinking " I'll be a good boy " or is so shattered after his week of playing. I am thinking it's the second and he will be back to his cheeky self tomorrow ( watch this space). He travel s great in the car, I have a strap which clips on his collar and the other end goes in the seatbelt thing. He is now waiting at the curb when we tell him. Not too confident in saying cat friendly, he chased our cat today and nearly went through the hedge. Best to say no cats !!! I am sure he had grown in the last week and has really changed. He will be a loving, cheeky boy for someone to love.

He is just starting to elongate in his face. The difference in the later photos to his entry photo, so different. x

Freddy is at the vets tomorrow for another X-ray tomorrow to see how his leg is mending. So hopefully he will be able to get more play time, running around. He would love another dog to play with as he has lots of energy. He has come back from his holiday and loves to curl up on the settee and go to sleep.

Good news today !!!!!!!!!! Freddie has been given the all clear today. He had an X-ray and his leg is all healed. The lump that has developed is just a small bone growth with a bit of fluid around. The vets said that is will probably shrink as the bone settles. But it is nothing to worry about.
So now we are looking for his Forever home. Preferably with another dog he can play with as he LOVES TO PLAY.
