Freddy went to the vets today, they were very happy with him. We are to keep going with his cage rest. They think about another 2 weeks. We have to go back next Thursday for another check up.

Freddy continues to go from strength to strength. When he is let out he starts to go mental, he starts to run around the garden. But we soon stop him, he loves to play with toys. He gets all paddys toys out the box. There is a ball on a rope and he swings to from side to side and it must hurt himself as it hits him. But he doesn't stop. We let him sit outside with us today. I put him on a long lead and he sat with us in the sun watching the world go by. He is a bit bitey at the moment so are taking steps to stop this. He is not aggressive just over zealous. There is no food aggression at all, I have taken away his kong and put my hand in his food bowl while he eats. He is just a hungry nose. He now sits and started to give his paw.
He wants to play with paddy but he's not interested, grumpy old man.

Just a bit longer and he can have some freedom. It is hard work when they can't move around. Well done Ray and Fiona. x

It sounds like there's a very happy, typically bouncy pup inside just waiting to burst out. It's really nice to read your updates, and hopefully it won't be long before we hear that Freddy is able to run and play as much as he likes

Today Freddy had another check up , he has to go back tomorrow for an x ray to see if he can have the splint removed. Hopefully it will have mended enough for this to happen.
