I do hope the lovely boy gets a home soon as it's ages since we saw him on the transport run!

Freddy was obviously a bit puckish!!!! No food is safe with lurchers. Glad the picnickers found it amusing.

Freddy is 'on holiday' with David and Audrey (thank you so much!) while Fiona and Ray are on holiday themselves. He's having a great time, with four walks a day and all the river mud he can roll in. Audrey says she has lost 5lbs and can recommend the 'foster dog diet'! Can't understand why Freddy hasn't a forever home yet, as he makes a brilliant companion.

Freddy is back from his holidays. He has had the best time ever. He has been playing with Bailey and Ollie for 2 weeks. They have been in the sea, which is amazing since Freddy wouldn't even dip his toes in a little stream before.. All 3 playing tug, which Freddy just loves and getting all muddy. Audrey just loved him and says he mis a pleasure to have, he is funny and just so good playing with ALL dogs. 3 dogs would have been too much full time though.
So Freddy is still looking for his forever home. We think a home with another dog, as he loves to play or to be an only dog with other local dogs he can play with. We think no cats though. When we first got him at the end of March he had no manners, thought all food was his, even ours. Barked at everything and probably had never lived in doors. Now he is like a different pup. He is still food orientated but will not try to take the food off your plate, he has learnt that if you say leave he has too. He is good on the lead, he did have to have a halti but doesn't pull not without one. ( unless he sees a dog). He really has calmed down loads. He will be a fantastic addition to a family and will be a very loyal, loving dog. Please take a look at how far he has come and give him his wish for a loving forever home. Xxx

Last night when we went for a walk we came across a frog. Freddy really didn't know what to make of it. He sniffed it, poked it with his nose, plonked his paw on him. Then wanted to play with him when he started to hop away. It was very funny to watch.

We are still looking for Freddys forever home. He loves to play tugging, chases a ball, toy, Kong and always brings it back for more. In the park he loves to play with other dogs, chase crows or pigeons and especially squirrels. The first few months when we had him he was very food orientated and would shoot straight out of his cage in the morning to see what food was there, he has now lost that. And most mornings Paddy eats his food. He did eat my lunch one morning. I made me sandwich and put it in a bag with crisps and a cake bar. Went up to get dressed when I came down he had eaten my sandwich, crisps and was half way through my cake. Well I suppose it was tastier than his biscuits.
He has his routine now and knows when it's walkies time also that they will get a treat in the evening, a Kong, biscuits, jumbone etc.
He really will make a fantastic edition to a family with older kids and no cats, he will chase.
I have sent Jenny some videos of him so I'm sure she will soon put them on.

What a gorgeous boy. I'd love him to be a playmate for Jethro but 5 is quite enough for now. :-(
