Ariel went over to the common and met loads of dogs - she seemed to love them all. She is very dog savvy in her behaviour and knows how to reposnd if another dog becomes a bit over excited and boisterous. I think she was having a ball.
Well, we have had our first bark - BUT its very cute. I had to go out yesterday afternoon. When I got home I was greeted by a very waggy tail and an excited boo wooo wooo sound. (I will try and get it in video but no promises).
Ariel is beginning to come out of her shell and get the hang of the schedule here, and joins in with Zephyr's excitement when its time to go out etc. She is very affectionate, loves her walks, meeting people and other dogs. I am having to put gravy on her kibble as she is not so keen on the dry biscuits but she is pretty much perfect.
Ariel is very lovely, really lovely. She is such a little charmer. As soon as people show that they are interested in meeting her, she is more than happy to go over for a lean and a big fuss but she doesn't impose herself on them. When she sees a dog, she always wants to say hello but and will canter over (if off lead) but never overwhelm them.
She isn't cat friendly and keeps a careful eye out for squirrels but generally walks on the lead well and has some recall. When not out for walks, eating or 'helping' in the kitchen, she sleeps quietly next to you, making very few demands other than to be with you.
I think whoever ends up with this girlie is going to be very, very happy.
Lovely update Philippa she looks and sounds a dream of a hound. Hope she gets snapped up quickly (although she is clearly having a ball with you and Zeph).
Have just popped on here to post these pics ... it appears you have beaten me to it..... Hope Aerial slept well yesterday.... she sure did some miles running with Pluto ....

Trying to save you a bit of work - it must take hours uploading all the pics to photobucket and posting them - but do love to see them.
Oh yes - Ariel is a good sleeper - but she did enjoy yesterday's walk. I am hoping to arrange a playdate for her with my friend's lurcher Crusty later in the week.
It does take time especially when i loaded all the photos of the walk tonight only to be told by a website that shall remain nameless ... Computer says NO..... i very nearly threw my own laptop across the room.... not what was needed on the back of a 13 hour day at work.... but all calm here now with several successful uploads to SLR....
