Those eyes, that waggy bottom, he is just adorable. Although you've made us all cry Christine, this is fantastic and you and your pack are doing such a great job with this little man. We're going to enjoy watching this boy grow and develop. Huge thanks for sharing these precious moments xx

Major breakthrough this week: Lenny squeezed in beside Comet on one of the beds in my study. My dogs are all very cuddly with each other but it takes Comet and Daisy a while before they'll let a new dog lie against them. My previous foster puppy, Bambi, wanted to lie next to them from the start and Alice was always happy for her to do this. But little Lenny hasn't tried to climb onto a bed with any of my dogs so far. He likes this bed next to the radiator so he must have decided it's his and just climbed onto it next to Comet. Comet was very good and didn't mind. Lenny is like any puppy and loves to play... especially after he's had his tea! He's always been playful and wants to play with the other dogs but he's gradually got more confident and he and Alice have great fun in the garden running around and playing bitey faces. He's also found his voice and it's a funny gruff bark. Toilet training is going quite well. At first I had a problem getting him to understand that he had to go outside. He wants to go in a specific place but had decided it had to be indoors. I would wander round the garden and stand with him for ages only to give up and he would come straight indoors and pee! He seems to have got it now and has his little spot in the garden where he likes to go. He's still too young to be able to hold it but there's definitely progress in him learning where he needs to go, and fewer accidents indoors. The staples on his wound came out this week and he's had his first vaccines. The second lot will be in 2 weeks time and then a week later he'll be OK to go out for walks... that should be fun. He's a curious little boy, but also a bit of a scaredy when the other dogs go crazy in the garden. He'll run away, stop, and then want to go back again. There's definite signs that he's not going to be an over-the-top hyper-dog. He's happy, playful, and loves people. Every time I take him to the vet he gets highjacked to the back of the surgery for everyone to have a cuddle. He's definitely the most popular little pup! Here he is asleep after exhausting himself playing with Alice and chasing a ball with me. ... the cutest thing on 3 legs!!!

It's really interesting to watch their progress in the growing up department, he's a lucky boy having your pack to guide him. Has he grown, he looks like it in the pics? Thanks for the update Christine, we're all beguiled by Lenny xx

this little pup is having such a good time with Alice and he loves chasing a ball, but it's a relief when he finally gets exhausted and sleeps for a while. He's going to be a delight to someone one day. He's a very special little man and such fun. Let's hope he finds his forever home soon

Lenny hasn't quite worked out that lying in the garden in the sun is great, despite the example that the other dogs set. He tends to want to follow me when I go back indoors, although with all the sun over the past 2 days he's gradually spending more time out there ... mostly playing with Alice. She plays pretty rough but Lenny always comes back for more and can give as good as he gets, as you can see from the second video.
He's still in the "I have to chew every stick I can find" stage of puppy development
Anybody want to adopt a cheeky, bouncy little pup with a happy smile???
