I'll post a fuller update tomorrow, but for now I can say that he was named Lenny by the vet who carried out the surgery, so I'll keep that name. He has a really sweet nature and is already very mobile. He's very friendly, with a lovely long, waggy tail, and obviously wants to play with the other dogs, particularly Alice but he's still a bit wobbly on his legs. He's fast asleep now with his eyes tight shut and there's no way he's going to open them ... the poor might is clearly exhausted. I have a feeling he's going to cry tonight when he has to sleep in the crate but so far he's been ok about going in there. It's just a bit difficult for him to get in and out with just 3 legs. It's hard watching him hop around and toppling over, but I'm resisting picking him as he needs to make his own way and so far I'm very impressed ... he's even managed to get up the steps into the kitchen! I'll post some more photos tomorrow
