He is a lovely boy, loves to play, loves to eat, loves to be cosy. Needs to be with at least one playful dog. Ours do play with him, but they tell him off when they have had enough, he would play all day. He seems to have that nervous energy which means he doesn't put on much weight however much he eats, always looking for food. Find it hard to believe he's had no interest, we thought he would be long gone by now. He can be hard work, but we will really miss him when he goes. We now call him Oliver/Ollie because Liam was to like our Leo and it confused them and us. He goes training each week now, he is quite good but only sits when he wants but is getting better, stay and recall is good in class and is getting better outside, but he is very interested in other dogs and if he can't play he gets a bit uppety.

It is unbelievable that this boy is still on here after all the love, caring, understanding and training he's had with you. People do go to rehoming kennels but I'd far prefer to get an honest and knowledgeable history from a dog who's lived with a family.
I was entranced by him on the transport run as we had a good snuggle and he kept licking my hand.
Oliver Update (was Liam)Not much to update on really. He is doing fairly well in his training classes, sits stays pretty well. Loves to play with any dog he can get to, so mainly we run him on the beach, and a local field but avoid doing it when other dogs are about because he's recall is not good. Loves to play ball and will bring it back, loves his food so that helps with getting him back. Alas not many lurcher type dogs around here for him to play with and not many places where he can really run free. Has put on a few kilos since he arrived 5 months ago, but it mainly seems to be in muscle growth and he has got taller, but he still looks all legs, he has lots of nervous energy and will suddenly get up, get a toy from the toybox and run out into the garden all on his own and chase around playing with it. He has been left now for upto 4 1/2, and it doesn't seem to bother him any more as long he is with the rest of the pack. He would not like to be left alone!few pictures attached and videos. Will take him to Greyhound walk show tomorrow at Braintree.

What is wrong with my lovely Oliver(Liam)? He is such a lovely boy, I will miss him so much when we eventually find him a forever home, if circumstances were different I would love to keep him, but I find it a bit difficult with four, I am 70 now so not as agile as I would like to be and can't really give him the life he deserves, and my pension does not really stretch to four lots of insurance, food and vet bills. He would so love to be living with a younger dog as he loves to play and run, but my other boys aren't so inclined anymore.
I can't understand why someone hasn't snapped up this lovely boy. He is so handsome and a lovely nature. I'm sure if someone would just give him a chance and did a meet-up they would fall in love with him. Keeping my fingers crossed for him!
