Liam came into us today via the Dog Warden Service. He had been in holding kennels for 10 days. He is a lovely lovable big boy, around 27" to the shoulder. He is probably about 18 months to 2 years old. More to follow from his foster mum and dad Fiona and Ray in Hertfordshire. Liam currently in Winchester kennels.

Such a common look when they're in the pound, lost and unloved. Not any more though Liam.... Can't wait to see some photo's after he's spent a bit of time with Fiona and Ray, he'll look a different dog.

Thank you to Romi, Heather &Philip for getting Liam to us. He is a very timid boy, at the moment he is more wary of Ray than me. He was very happy and interested in meeting Paddy. He was really funny dancing around while Paddy just barked at him. He is about the same size as Paddy. I'm not sure how old he is, he didn't c**k his leg but squatted when he had a wee. He is really nervous, I opened the bin, he jumped back. I opened the dish washer and he jumped back. Even though he has soon realised that if he is not scared he gets to lick the dishes. Yummy. He has had some dinner but didnt gulp it down. He must be absolutely shattered as he is fast asleep on the floor, not even on his bed.

Today Liam has been such a good boy. I have been at work so he has had to get used to Ray. He is really lovely , when you call him he comes over to you and when you speak to him he goes all silly and shuffles in bum first. He has got used to Ray today and when I came in he wanted lots of fuss and cuddles. He has met our friends Lab, Rosie. Sniffs at first then not bothered.
He only has one dew claw and keeps catching it as it is growing upwards. He is booked in for his "op" next Tuesday so I will get them to look at what to do.
He has slept lots today but I think that he is relieved to be safe.

Liam has settled in really well. He still is a bit jumpy at times but is starting to relax. He was a bit pongy so I gave him a bath today, I think I was as wet as he was, especially when he tried to jump out the bath. He dint like it but is so soft and clean now. He was really dirty. Both him and paddy have been sat out in the sun today.

Thanks for the updates Fiona and he certainly has taken to home life with you. Liam is a lovely chap. We so enjoyed meeting him and perhaps we'll see you at the the Greyhound Walk.
I sometimes wish we hadn't got our little lurcher to keep the greyhounds company because I can't foster now and there's so many out there who need that chance. Perhaps a small calm male one will come along?
Enjoy Liam - he's going to become even more stunning with all your care.
