We decided on a compromise last night and put another crate in our bedroom. Made it nice and comfy and put a heavy blanket over it to keep her snug. She walked into it on her own, without any need for encouragement, and slept all night, till I got up at 6.15..
She is now laying on our bed with the others, all snoozing again.

Depending on which ones, that could be crowded at best, or simply outrageous. Good job they don't all jump on at once. Mind you, Elaine & Bruce's pack would take up some space. Fleur can curl very small...

Just trying a new way of downloading a photo, so forgive me if it does not work. Fleur, beautiful in every way. Just checked it is the wrong way up, never mind.

A quick update on Fleur. She hasn't coughed for 5 days, so hopefully all is ok with her now.

She is positively gorgeous! Her character really seems to be coming through, well done for looking after her. She really reminds me of our Lennie who was a lab lurcher x (fawn). Beautiful <3 Has she had any experience with cats?

All is going very well with Fleur. We went back to the vets yesterday for her second vax. She was a very good girl but did give a little 'ouch' as the needle was removed. She was weighed again and she was 17.5kg. That is exactly a 2kg gain in two weeks. So pleased, but she still looks skinny to me.
She will be going back next week for neuter.
She continues to be a real pleasure to have with us here although she still has lots to learn. I have to feed her separate from the others as 1. I have never seen a dog eat quite so fast and 2. She sees absolutely nothing wrong in trying to help the others finish their's, which doesn't go down too well with them.
I will find some photos and post them later.
