I was puzzled why she wasn't snapped up immediately - but as is almost always the case, it happens when the right match comes along. Have a very, very happy life, lovely girlie and many thanks to her new family for giving her a wonderful, new home. Well done, once again to everyone involved in rescuing Fleur.

So pleased to hear that she's found her forever home and that it's going to be where you can get to see her. She is such a sweet, pretty little girl, I'm not surprised she captured your hearts

Really sorry for delay, although I set up a post at around 9.30 this morning, then downloaded four photos to add to the post but Photobucket is not co-operating. I have just tried again to download photos but no luck.
Anyway, so for the time being here is an update minus photos.
Susie and Robin made the 2.5 hours journey from Suffolk yesterday to collect Fleur and everything went very well. She was happy to sit on their laps and when that awful time came when it was time to go, followed them out of the house and jumped straight into their car. Susie phoned later to say everything was going well and that Fleur slept most of the way home. She said she will phone me again later this week and give an update on how she is getting on with their dog Harry.
It is so quite here now and all the dogs are very subdued, especially Meggie, who seems to be missing Fleur quite a lot. I did two 1.15 hour dog walks this morning to places we don't go to very often, to try and give them all something else to think about. It worked at the time but Meggie is just wandering round, not knowing what to do with herself. I hope that in a few days she will get back to normal. Lots of exciting dog walks for the next week I think. I will keep trying with the photos and post them asap.
PS I should add, that I am missing her quite a lot too.

It's so sad when they go isn't it? Thinking of you all this evening. I'm sure the dogs will appreciate having extra special walks, give yourself a hug and a treat or two for all you did for Fleur xx

We received this a short while ago, from Susie and Robin.
Dear Elaine & Bruce Just a quickie to say how well Fleur has settled in – she spent the night in Frankie’s old bed in our bedroom having initially thought she might stay on our bed – but all well – also had a lie down this afternoon and took her in with us with her bed and settled down well – otherwise on our sofa in the sitting room last night – she has eaten well – Rob took her out this morning and met up with Louise which was good - - she is now fast asleep in another bed of Harry’s – will send you some photos in a day or so – she is a lovely dog and we are thrilled with her – thank you for letting us have her – best wishes – Susie & Robin
Can't ask for more really.
