Kizzy was abandoned and has come out of holding kennels into our care. Kizzy is being fostered in Hertford with Fiona and Ray and their lovely Lurcher Paddy. I'll leave Fiona to update his details for you

Well Kizzy joined us today. He is full of life and very bouncy. Paddy has been telling him off but I think he will learn. I think he was so tired today he fell asleep at Rays feet then Ray put him on to Paddys bed and he fell asleep with Paddy. When I got home from work I could hear him barking from outside and he was barking at Paddy trying to get him to play. He is quite nippy and looking for food all the time. Tonight we had a curry takeaway and nearly lost the lot to a little hungry nose. He has a lot to learn !

I went to bed at about 11.30 last night and Kizzy was fast asleep. I never heard anything from him and when I went down at 7 this morning he had taken over Paddys bed and Paddy had snuck onto the settee ( which he never does). He had a good stretch then came to say good morning. I checked for any puddles or worse and only found one puddle. He has been weeing indoors and I haven't seen him have a wee outside yet. We are working on this. I gave him his breakfast and he wasn't greedy and gobbled it all up, he has eaten half of it. He was trying to get Paddy to play but just got told off !!! He will meet Jenny today as we are going over to collect a cage for him. He is much more gorgeous in person as he's hard to see in photos

This little man, now named Kenny, is totally gorgeous. His temperament is superb. He popped round today and met the gang here. No bull in this boy. He is collie x. He will probably reach around 23 to the shoulder, about Labrador size and weight. I took some photos and will load them later. He will make a cracking family dog. Bombproof xxx

Like the name Kenny for this lad....every time I hear Kizzy I think of a certain slim pointy brindle girl. Kenny sounds like the perfect new addition for a family.

As Kenny continues to settle in his character is coming out more. He is a very loving little boy and loves a cuddle. He buries his head in your lap and when you stroke him him falls to the floor. Paddy is taking a bit longer than normal to get used to him maybe cos Kenny jumps all over him and barks at him when he doesn't play. He never does this in the day it's either really early in the morning or late at night !!!! He is still quite nippy and has a really mischievous side. If he get hold of any paper he shreds it. He will walk off with your shoes, loves the toy box and will nearly get in there to get the toys at the bottom. We collected a cage from Jenny on Sunday ( as he keeps weeping on the floor) and the first night never heard a peep, last night was very different . I went to bed at about 11.30 and he went in, then at about 2.30he was whining . I tried to leave him but eventually came down and he had weed so I took the wet duvet and out him back in. I went back to bed then at 3.30 Paddy wanted to go out, Ray got up this time. When I got up at 7.30 Ray had left him out. I let him straight out for a wee, gave him his breakfast and the he asked to go out ( yay ) for a poo. I will see how tonight goes.
Today he is at the vets for his vaccinations, I am sure he won't like it and will be very vocal.
