I only offered as i know where Vivianne (the dog wardens name too!!!)usually boards the strays ......as long as he gets out and is safe that all that matters

Not sure when his 7 days up fri I finish work half 2 need to get kids so would be about 4-5 pm before I can get over the wet bit x Hi Janine, Because of its urgency, I have taken the freedom and phoned the office of the dog warden in Chichester enquiring about "Toot" concerning his seven days. Unfortunately both dog wardens were out at the moment but I left our phone number with them and they will phone me back later, probably this afternoon. Will update when I hear back from them.

That wasn't necessary Viviane, as I am in constant contact with them and it is all sorted. His time will be up next Monday, but we have permission to hold him for the rest of his seven days.

Glad it's all sorted, Jenny, and he is on his way to Janine. As we thought you are in hospital, we took our own initiative to help and try and find out when his seven days are up and arrange to pick him up for his stay on the Isle of Wight.

Wot d'ya fink? If SLR had a 'Services to Lurchers' award Jenny would take top honours every year, and Janine would scoop the award of Most Dedicated Foster! Seriously girls, I am so proud to be a member of this wonderful rescue.

A little Fairy named Janine went over on her day off to get him and bring him back. You don't say "no" to Janine.

A little Fairy named Janine went over on her day off to get him and bring him back. You don't say "no" to Janine. Soo good of that little fairy, well done, Janine, we are glad that he is safe now, and out of the cold! The ONLY thing is, if I may say so: please please do let other people know on the thread about your very honourable intentions when they have offered their assistance as well. It would have saved us a whole day sitting by the phone and waiting for a call from the dog warden! Hope you don't mind me saying this, Janine, but if I had not said anything, how would you have known? (By the way, The kennels are only 10 minutes drive down the road from us!) I have taken the kennel name out of this post to protect the holding kennels
