Just to let you all know that after a Mini-Mega Tour of Guildford, Sid is safely ensconced in The MaD House for the night Catching some Zzzzzzz's getting ready for the next leg of his journey..............he wants to send 'sorry's' to Barney for munching his leather lead in half, but sez it was very tasty! I've just found the other half still attached to the seat belt in the Nissan!

Sid migrated to the dog bed outside our bedroom last night, but being a typical wimpy Saluki type he whined most of the night :-). Today we have had some roaching and friendly overtures to the home dogs. He's enjoying the home cooked diet and goes for his first post op check on Saturday.
He says thanks for all your friendly concern

What?!! Some roaching ONE day after his boy's operation? This little lad sounds as tough as an old boot, Caroline! I bet he LOVES his homecooked meals, Caroline, yes, you go and spoil him to bits!

Sid is progressing well. Toilet training is in full swing, we're treating him just like a puppy. Outside every time he wakes, eats, drinks or gets excited. Over the nights he's been here he's migrated from a living room bed, to a landing bed to now sleeping in one of the dog beds in our room. He's still very nervous around men and runs away if you walk towards him, but we've already overcome a number of his fear triggers so here's hoping it's only time. He's found the sofa, demonstrated his roaching capabilities!
But to keep things on the safe side I'm only putting the tree up tomorrow night lol - don't want to put too much pressure on the new toileting skills
