Always a poignant moment, but worth it to know you've helped this handsome boy on his journey to a new and happy life. Well done!

I am just soo very happy for lovely Sid (tears here for him!) But what is a 350-mile-journey compared to a life full of happiness, Caroline? I remember when we got our beautiful Nicole from Ireland who spent 24 hours travelling towards the South of England, and part of it on a ferry...... it was a very emotional experience. Have a lovely journey, little Sid, we are all thinking of you and all involved.

Sid went off with Iggy on the first part of his journey today. Poor mite had to be microchipped in MacDonalds car park. But took it all in his stride. He is such a lovely lad. No-one could fail to fall in love with his kissable snout. He shared the first part of his journey with the most gorgeous little Piglet.. Barney said goodbye.

Don't worry Mark, the lead was an SLR lead from stock. xx Phew, thats alright then...............but I wonder if it was more or less tasty than a Barney Special? Any-Hoo, the boy has spent most of the day asleep.............bless.............I expect the excitement of the last few days has finally caught up!

Awww... Barney, you are SUCH a softie! Hope the little chap spent a good night at the MaD House, Mark, and has fully recovered from the excitement of the last few days. Wishing him a safe journey to Cornwall today... drive carefully, guys.

So far he's been the perfect foster dog 'cos he's done nothing but sleep! The first I heard of him this morning was about 7.15. He is very nervous and I expect he's going to take time to settle but I reckon that Cornish air will work it's magic on him.
A huge thank you to Barney and Jenny for all the goodies that came down with him. Right ho, I'm off; I have a date with those Kernow Piskies later this afternoon.
ETA: Apologies for the lack of photos. Mark has packed our cameras.
